Hmm... I just took a look at some sample data and compared it to the output of Necrosaro's program, and I think I may have discovered the problem. If you like HH, I could email you a new build of LC to see if that fixes things.

I could, but I'd like to know if there's a fix for this before I start on such a potentially frustrating project.

You could try writing your own decompression/compression code for Pokemon Silver. The information on the format is out there. (http://www.geocities.com/radimvice/pokemon.htm) It's the exact same place that FuSoYa got his documentation from. (Well, exact same author)

As you can see, it's not decompressing some things properly. I forget what the format's called but it's #2.
