It's really Ctrl-F9.

Uh...you don't. Those are the ROM addresses you need to put your new tile numbers at in a hex editor. Just follow Smallhacker's directions...

Where do I insert 9E7D and 9E7E into the rom?

well, it could if you do this:

Hold down cntl, shift, and pgdn while in the Map 16 editor. it should say at the bottom "sprites data viewing unlocked", or something like that. then hold pgdn all the way to the bottom, and select the ninji's M16 tile. change it's graphics, then hit F9 to save the GFX setting to a file that is laoded with your ROm when editing.

I found the Ninji animation bytes. Note that this will edit every Ninji in the game. Also, I'm not 100% sure that it won't change any other enemy.
It's stored at 9E7D (Arms up) and 9E7E (Arms down).

Open the GFX/ExGFX file in Yy-Chr and hold the mouse over the upper left tile of the Ninji with the arms up. A value should appear at the bottom after the text "Bank:". Enter this at 9E7D in the ROM. Do the same with Ninji with the arms down and enter it at 9E7E.

Also, keep in mind that LM won't show these changes.

Edit: Oh. Forgot one thing. Add $80 to the value to keep it at page 4. Otherwise, it will jump up to page 3.

Maybe you can make a copy of Ninji with the SMWreconfig.
That way you can easily put both of them at one time.

No, say i want to use lakitu and a Ninji in the same level but their graphics overlap
each other in the same graphics area. could you help me with that?

Easy! Just change the SP's index in the Super GFX editor. Be sure to enter the value in hex, and that the ExGFX you put are actually sprites.

Also, change your thread title. It sounds like you're insulting someone.

How can you make Sprites read different graphic sets?
