No one has made a level editor for SMA4 yet? That's a shame. Is anyone working on one or are there any plans for one? |

Excellent stuff. Someone should take a look at the M3I source and make it compatible with SMA4... if I had some documentation on how the game works I could maybe do a little something. |

I tend to download and archive everything I come across, like editors and documents, etc..
I had Sludge's site bookmarked for the longest time last year, untill now I had forgotten all about it. I don't remember the original name for the program, because the name Marionator came with the version I uploaded I beleive (I don't have the older versions of it).

Holy Crap! The editor isn't a lost forever now. Man, I'm glad someone knew what they were grabbing at the time. I've heard so many times it existed but the site was hacked and nothing was on it anymore. *Downloads* |

No, there really was a world map editor for this game, and the author of the editor went by the nick of 'Sludge' if memory serves. It had a strange gui at first, then it became awesome, then he dissapeared. He also had some info on the enemies in a document on his site. Maybe I still have this thing on one of my CD's littering my desk...

--edit--
I'm pretty sure this is the last publicly released version of it he released.
Marionator, the super mario advance 4 ROM editor Version 0.065

--edit #2-- I found that enemy data I was talking about earlier, it's just a copy and past from his old site though.

nope. I believe there is a Mushroom house editor that is compatable with SMA4, but as for any other type of hacking, it's al about hex editing thus far. |

There was a world map editor for SMA4 released ages ago. I think the guy's homepage got hacked or something, so chances are it will be next to impossible to find online. |

There is no utilities for Super Mario Advance 4 except one that lets you insert decompressed levels into a save file to play on the ROM but only a certain person has that and I won't reveal who so he cannot be bothered about it since I'm sure he's abandoned that project long ago. |

Actually, I swear there was an editor out that was actually compatible with the SMB3 one. Or maybe it was just something someone was making up in #rom-hacking a while back. I can never be sure. |

Any tools or hacking information out for this yet? I'd think, since there's already editors for the NES and SNES versions of the game, and an awesome one for SMW, that someone would've done something with this game...
So, anyone know?
Thanks =P |
