I don't decide where it's placed. It works just as well with where it's placed right now, No complaints. |

Wasn't you going to place that apartment just beside the room with the cat? Or did you just change your mind?
And yeah, most Balconies are empty. |

Ah, that door looks pretty nice. I can see the details ij the wood. Very well done.
Now it looks completed. |

Yeah it's pretty cool. Don't forget to click on the numbers to see more rooms and all. I hadn't realized that myself at first. If I do make another one, it'll probably be another balcony, since it tends to be ignored. There are way more talented pixel artists out that can make better contributions though, so I doubt it, unless I get a good idea. That Spice Girls thing was my first stab at pixel art after all. I really liked the idea. Thanks you guys! |

Okay Apophis, I stuck with the sloppy paint one. I was told to put a frame on it too, so I did, and now it's on The Joint!
I'm glad. |

I like the one with the sloppy paint. It just has more character. |

Well I was trying to make it not italicized. But taking a break and looking at it later, I realized how bad it turned out. I guess staring at a piece for a long time messed up my judgement. I threw a door there, with two styles.
One has it so it looks like they were sloppy with the paint, and the other just has the door on top of it all. Any good? I hope to finish this up soon. |

Fixed :D
Seriously, this is nice. However, you should try and stay away from the lettering. And trying to do an iso italiacized letter might be hell.

To be honest it did look better without the letters. I would rather put a door there or something. After all they need to get out of the room somehow, you don't want dead band after all. |

I was told to just stick with the version without the case. I agree.
I didn't know what to do. I was told the S is italicized. I don't know about the whole thing. Maybe I should just stick a door there |

This is my first iso art. I made the flag first, and then lowered the opacity in Photoshop so that it looked painted on. I don't know how well I succeeded here.
I also had trouble with the girls. In fact, the whole thing proved challenging. I probably should've tried a tutorial first. Isometric art just looked really easy to me.. ahaha. I should've known better.
This is your first time, right? They really look awesome. The one were the flag look painted I like the most. Very good details there.
As for advice I don |

OK, you may have a point there. To be honest, I think it actually looks better without the sliding door. |

Well there's a reason why I removed the sliding door. Do you see the room with the cat? There is a TV where the door would be, leaving no access. So I figured, why not just remove it? It's a distraction, and the cat room doesn't need two balconies, I think. |

I just viewed the Joint, and I must say that I think it is very cute. The apartments are very detailed and creative. Your submission has nicely detailed characters and might add some style to one of the balconies.

This is my first iso art. I made the flag first, and then lowered the opacity in Photoshop so that it looked painted on. I don't know how well I succeeded here. I don't know if any of you have ever tried to recreate the british flag at that angle, but it was pretty frustrating. The diagonal lines were weird, like the red lines aren't centered in the white lines. To me, it's just a strange design.
I also had trouble with the girls. In fact, the whole thing proved challenging. I probably should've tried a tutorial first. Isometric art just looked really easy to me.. ahaha. I should've known better. But I don't think it's a bad first try. I'm having serious problems with the glass case look.. I don't know how to go about it at all, but what I have now just isn't working out. I also wasn't sure if I should put a window on a side or something, it feels empty there. Any tips would be great, I want to fix this up so I can submit it to The Joint. I've also posted this in their forums for feedback, so expect improvements and all. |
