That girl is awesome! I like that one the best. The eye is really nice .
I like the cactus one also, it looks really...3D, but its 2D. Thats awesome!

I allready raved on about it on AIM but I should let others see my opinion I guess so I'll repeat what I said for the most part. As I said, my favorite is the second one, the girl, because the drawing of her is very well done but it also keeps the stylish look you want to go for. I also like the others alot as well. The first gives me a sort of Paper Mario/Meteos feel, mostly because the character looks like it could be a kind of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door enemy, but the design also seems reminicent to the alien things from Meteos, though you've told me before the eyes are something you like to use on evil characters and such. Not to be so comparitive but the last one also reminds me of another style, it looks like it could be an Electro Plankton, except the head reminds me of your own character style you seem to like to use in your games. My only problem with it is that it looks like you wanted it to be on the ground yet the legs make it look like it is supposed to be floating. I can't think of anything else bad about the different art pieces, besides at the most maybe the shadows on the first one which look like they could use a tiny bit of adjustment, though you may of wanted the sort of floating paper type look it seems to have... |

A lot of my previous artwork (work I seldom shared with others) was very abstruse, and becoming more difficult to create due to it's convoluted nature. So, this recently lead to somewhat of an artistic epiphany for me. I've been experimenting with creating simple and stylish (if I do say so myself) works of art.
It was either do something unique, or start drawing anime style like everyone else.  (Please don't read to deep into that anyone, I think the anime artwork is great... just not the path for me.)
I hope at least someone enjoys these. All criticism is welcome. |
