I like that Gameboy style color scheme a good idea, could make it more pixelated too!
Color hacks are cool, just not in red! Unless it's to make it look Virtualboy style... |

Acmlm did that the way this sort of hack should be. And, those levels and overworld looked pretty cool too  but that idea of a all one color hack. . . is only entertaining for a small time, so I guess that it is good you only did one world. |

So how about Purple Mario Bros 3 now? Wait, I've done this long ago already, here 
At least mine was kept to a single world and the hack wasn't just about colors, not to mention I even varied the purple a bit 
Another one you could do is with greyscale (or tinted yellow/green), call it GameBoy Mario Bros 3?  |

At least, the title screen looks good. But I still don't know why you absolutely have to make a colour themed hack. You could always have one colour in each world. |
