Haven't played on feet in ages, but i plan to during the next few weeks in the phillipines. On keyboard i cant pass any of the max's on heavy.

My best achievement so far is getting an AA at Kind Lady on Heavy.

Generally, I just play with flair, rather than trying to get absolutely perfect. I really, really find it more fun to add flourishes than to go for the gold in timing.

Ive had the game since July and I still suck at it...its not that I have no rythem its just that I dont really get the chance to play it that much. My spring break is coming up next week though and I plan to spend some good ol fashioned time with DDR...

The best thing you can do is start on light, dont waste your time on beginner. Do some 3-4 footers, that should be good enough for a newb. Ansd dont bring your damn feet back to the middle of the pad. Hit yourself everytime you do so.

played once or twice last summer, with a friend's pad and PSX. But um. First time, and all the vets standing around with that "oh geez, hurry the damned noobs up so we can go on and take the spotlight and get all the unactractive women here who flock to us proceding it" look...yeah, I got intimidated and fucked up

I saw my first DDR machine like 2 weeks ago, at a movie theater...there was this guy totally rippin' Heavy, and the rest of his pals were decent, but not at his level. One of the kids goes to my school. But anyway, I wanted to play, but I was kinda scared because it'd be my first time, and I'd look like a total doof.

My friend has some home pads, though. I should go over there soon.

I still play a few hours everyday, I want to be able to do heavy well before the end of the school year. I want to be able to show up my friend, who has been playing since september, and I only playign heavily since spring break. A tournament is coming soon, I will enter on standard if I feel confident enough, if not, then I will just go on light.

We should have a DDR sticky.

We're waiting for Acmlm to add a forum .

And you probobly dont want to get lost again

I going again tonight with a bunch of random people I met last time I went. And I have only had to home pad for a month, and I already do standard fairly well. Heavy is much harder but I usually select that difficulty when my last song comes around, thats a good way to get better.

Finally passed it wite? I finally did on the keyboard for Heavy once...can't say I'd come that close to doing so on Standard...let alone Heavy...but I might be able to do Light.

The most fun Ive had playing DDR in the arcade was my second time. I wasnt only on the light difficulty then. I was sorrounded by a bunch of pros and they helped me out. Just random people. Then we all went next door and ate pizza. Fun time.

Of course I looked like an idiot. I thought that was the point? But I guess some people were entertained. Like when I played a versus match with some guy. And when I let my wife try Stomp To My Beat some guy kept staring. So much fun tonight.
