They're Prog-Metal, certainly, though the symphonic element isn't there nearly as much as in Symphony X.

I sadly haven't checked this band out yet, but I've heard a lot about them.

Aren't they Symphonic Progressive? Similar to Symphony X from what I hear.

In my personal opinion Octavarium rules. I want to see more heavy stuff like this from Dream Theater.

And thanks to my connections, I got it two weeks ago.

At this point, I think it's pretty much safe to say that Dream Theater is slowing, but surely, starting to run out of steam. :/ Not to say that it's not good, because it certainly is. It's just not as good as Awake of Metropolis pt. 2. (but then again, could anything they do ever top those?)

Thanks to my inside connections, I have Dream Theater's new album. Let me just tell all you fellow Dream Theater fans that you are in for one incredible album. Absolute quality, especially the actual song "Octavarium" which I would say is better then A Change Of Seasons.

That is all.
