It's Win98. I'll try that update to DX8.1 and get back to you guys.
Thanks.
Edit: Nope, still get the same error. |

What OS are you running? (It is important) DX is made differently for the crap OS's (95 and 98) and for the NT based kernel's. If you are using 95 or 98 or ME, try this. It's DX 8.1, since I think DX 9.x no longer supports 95. |

Crap. I wonder how I can upgrade Direct X on that POS...
Edit: I have Direct X 6.1, and the only messages in dxdiag are about uncertified drivers. |

...tried to upgrade Direct-X? DINPUT.DLL obvioulsy have to do something with Direct-X. So I would suggest you to try upgrading Direct-X, FCE ultra may be requested something that isn't in the old version or something.
If that dosen't work, run dxdiag and see if everything is working. :/ |

OK, I know hardly anything about emulation (ironic, I know), so bear with me:
I tried to put FCE Ultra on my shitty laptop (Win98), and when I go to run it, I get the error message:
The DINPUT.DLL file is linked to missing export USER32.dll:GetRawInputDeviceList.
Any clue what's going on or how I can fix it? |
