.......You're using too many threads. Just compile your questions into one thread! So I can stop seeing your closed crap all over the board. And on that related note. >1 month bump = BAD BUMP.

Anyway, now that we are in fact, moving into sprite editing, it could be possible. But unless you learn ASM and other languages ROMs use, you won't get very far.

From what I've gathered, some sprites share ASM and have their ASM chosen by sprite number. you could do this, but you would need to change some of the handling routines. MikeyK posted about what values to change where in the thread "Sprite ASM pointers", by me. Also, you would need to copy say, the Bullet bill's shooter code and rewrite one offset to set the generator correctly.

Reading this again made me think of the underwater bullet generator thing. Would it be possible to make that a different enemy? Then it would be a generator with little ASM right? Just wondering, the idea popped into my head just now.

I see nothing wrong with using someone's hack as a base, so long as they got some credit for any work they did.

But it's not for the other ones (the mecha-koopa's at least). I have unlocked the game to see what he had done, and those sprites are generators. You could alwyas use his hack as a base ...I didn't say that .

How can I make a generator that generates a specific sprite? Like lets say sprite 12. Is there a special program for doing so, like Mario World Reconfigurator, or just some complicated ASM pointers ?
