I'm planning on doing that, but I would have to rewrite all of my programs, since my source codes were lost when my computer died...

I mapped out a bit of bowser's battle in this this thread.

Maybe it will help you. Also, bowser is stored as 4bpp GFX, can be edited, and I can send you a little bit more abut the mappings as I go back and look them up.

EDIT: and I forgot to tell you, bowser does not support more than 8 colours, he already seems to use colours 8-f of palette unknown.

Smallhacker: Just as you thought, there are more. I just looked at the rom in Snespal and there are 7 other palettes following the one at the offset you mentioned, for Bowser flying away.

Copied from the ROM locations thread:

0x00389E - 14 bytes - Bowser's Pallette

This only changes 7 colors, though. There has to me more, for when Bowser is flying away from the battle and such... Unless it's calculated during the game...

I was experimenting with how different I could make the final battle seem from the original using the offsets I could find here. I figured I could change the palette for the ground and such by changing the shared palettes in the rom, however that didn't seem to work. Any custom palette seems to be overridden unless I somehow did something wrong and went to the wrong copy(I made a backup). Where is this version of the palette stored? Also, does anyone know any tile settings for any Bowser Battle spesific sprites like the ball or the Bowser tilemap it'sself, or perhaps what GFX files it loads? What about the ending credits, what GFX and BGs it loads? Is it possible to get it to load from LM's new per level BG engine, or perhaps copy one of those to the originals? I currently am not making a true hack yet but the ability to change alot of things to make it look more uniqe would inspire me to do so probably.
