Open your ROM in a hex editor and add $200 bytes to the start of it. Bingo. Instant header.

There is a program to change snes rom headers, it is called SNES explorer.

Nad is saying that he has a (censor) that has not 0x200 byte header, and so he would like to be able to add one to it so he can hack a fresh SMW copy. And no, you cannot contract. sad but true that any leftover space that has been used and then unlink to is unrecoverable. AFAIK.

I have no clue if you can change the header. I heard of a program on Zophars that does something to the header of SNES games, but dont know if it makes them 0x200.

I do know however, that contracting a ROM is virtually impossible. No programs are made to fo it.

You're trying to hack into SDW:TLC aren't you? Sounds like it....

Cos, some *.smc ROM, when u open the in lm a dialog appears saying that the rom doesn't have a 200x byte header, if possible can someone tell me how to change oit to 200x bytes. And BTW: if u expand a rom can u contract (opposite of expand) it?
