I will honestly say, (not really trying to bash ... but) there forums turned into shit. All the "earlier" members started getting way too cocky, and always gave ALL newbies a hard time, eventually causing them to leave and stuff. I just don't like the atmosphere there, of constant smartass remarks and non-stop sarcasm.
It's especially sad when you also see Stemage himself getting bashed quite a bit. (That's what I saw last time I checked there forums).
But meh. The music rocks nonetheless.  |

I like his Lower Norfair a lot myself.
He's also done a Halo rap with his buddy. That's quality stuff too. |

He had done two SM tracks last I checked. Lower Norfair and Maridia (which is actually all the tunes from that stage). I did not much care for Lower Norfair, but I rather like Maridia.

So far I'm pretty sure there's only one Super Metroid track, and honestly I don't like it as much as the other tracks Grant's done.
I'm pretty sure the SM track is the first Maridia theme. |

I haven't listened to the Metroid Metal stuff nearly as much as I should. I'd been waiting to hear the thing in its entirety, really, and now that the whole album's done, I've only listened to it start to finish about one time. :p

Actually it was before that, since they didn't start off with a Messageboard, but I'm sure you get the point.
Good stuff, what's even more fascinating to know is that Stemage, is a one man band. I forget his name, I think it's Greg or something, but yeah all those songs are done by one guy alone. Crazy.
My favorite track has pretty much always been Kraid's Lair, but Brinstar and the Main Theme are pretty good too. |
