R2H2: It's not quite that simple. games don't have a "NTSC" and "PAL" mode, they're written to accomodate what type of TV they'll be played on, so converting a game to NTSC or to PAL, would probably more trouble than it's worth seeing as each has its own refresh rate.

Shouldn't it be possible to just switch it to NTSC speed somehow?

GameGenie codes can simply be decrypted, and patched to the ROM. uCON64 is capable of applying Game Genie codes directly to ROMs.

Hello there.

I'm hacking Lufia and the Fortress of Doom to translate it to german. Because of the lower speed of the PAL-snes, the Intro runs much slower than in the original. So I'd like to increase speed-values when you're on the world-map for example...

I found this on the net:

Move around caves and world map quicker:
4DB4-D401
Not effective when leaving a vehicle or boat.

This is a Game Genie Code... now I wanted to know, if there's any way, I can kind of disassemble this code to learn, what it does to the game and how it could be applied to my rom...

Any ideas?!
