Well seeing how no one is posting anything new, I figured I'd throw my new Mario sprite out there. Not only did I remove that overalls, but I gave him a new job too. Ladies and germs, may I present... my namesake... Dr. Mario!!

Nah, that's my Koopa replacement, once I unveil my new Mario it will all make sense and it won't look like I'm turning random gross things into bad guys. |

So I'll be getting in on this.
I have a new idea too but it'll take me longer. Can I make more than one? If not I'll probably end up replacing this.

Kudos to Dude Man. Not only is he doing this for fun, but I think he is also trying to get some activity going on. Whether you want to believe it or not, it has been dreadfully slow around the ROM hacking scene lately. I haven't seen it this slow in all the time I have been in the scene. Hopefully it will pick up when the summer comes, and school is out. I feel like no one hacks anymore. When are we ever going to see an innovative Mega Man hack? Or something else innovative for that matter? Well, I'll do whatever I can to help get activity flowing again. I understand that real life is a higher priority. But if it gets to the point when no one hacks anymore, we need new blood around here. |

Nothing too hitech... a simple unmoving banner can be alot better than a highly animated one. (unless its my simple unmoving banner, which sucks) |

No, he's doing this for fun. I mean honestly, without redrawing the sprites in this contest he pretty much won't be able to use them in a hack, so why would he go through the effort? This whole thing is FOR FUN. I don't care if there's nothing in it for the winner, that may be because I want to lose though, but I think the feeling of being good at something is reward enough. |

Nah, I think it's actually just a contest so you know, Rom Hackers... Rom hack stuff. No, actually this whole thing is just for kicks, I don't even think you're supposed to submit a Rom into him. I'm just going to supply sprite sheets and in game screenshots. I might even make my own Hack out of the GFX I make |
