OOC: Well, actually you defeated me at the same time.
Schwa collapses after defeating his foe, every last ounce of his strength drained. For about a minute, everything in the room is silent and motionless. Then, another Psi Warrior steps into the room... It's Allaura.
Allaura kneels down and places her palm on Schwa's left shoulder. Allaura talks to Schwa telepathically while he's unconscious.
"Schwa, that was teriffic. You defeated one of the toughest Evils out there."
"No... I failed. He got away at the last second, I just know it. Besides, it should have been so easy!"
"No way, Schwa... Ghost is one of the most advanced demon-spirit type creatures in existance. He doesn't fight with raw power and anger, as most demons and spirits do... He fights strategically. He's a spirit with the capabilities of an elite champion... And he's not completely Evil."
"What!?"
"Sensae tried to tell you... He fights with Honor. Haven't you noticed? He may be an Evil spirit, but he fights with Good assets. He can't be TOTALLY Evil..."
"..."
"Let me restore you. Etheral Restoration!"
Allaura throws red Ether over Schwa, and in 10 seconds he's awake and fully recovered. He paces for a while, then... "Let's get outta here. I don't want to think about tonight."
Moments later, two etheral streaks-- one blue, one red-- fly across the night sky into the heavens. Schwa may have won the battle, but his pride... that's another story.

Ghost felt energy being pulled out of Schwa and into his weapon...he only needed a few more seconds, and he would be finished! With Schwa's power, his great weakness to holy would vanish, and he would become incredibly powerful!
The orange beam then hit, dealing the same damage to Ghost as was being dealt to Schwa. The effect it took on Ghost was very bizarre, though; it didn't hurt him at all in his corporeal form, but as he was constantly phasing in and out of that state, it would deal damage on and off, hurting him when he was a spirit. And, as the attack's damage only affected the soul (by taking it), Ghost's soul was being disintegrated, as there was no place for it to be stolen to!
Finally, there was a deafening crack, and Ghost vanished with a puff of red smoke! Both the soul-stealing attack and the Crimson Bubble attack stopped, and the red portal that had been floating behind Ghost exploded. Ghost had been defeated, leaving absolutely no clues to his whereabouts now.

Typing that makes me feel all exhausted somehow. Nice job, Schwa, you killed my toughest character!  |

"You have sealed your own fate, spirit."
Schwa takes the hit of the beam... As soon as it hits, it greatly damages him. But that seems to be his plan... For as soon as that happens, the red ball surrounding Ghost expands, then shrinks, and as it shrinks it showers Ghost with countless orange wisps! This is known to do exactly the same amount of damage Schwa received.
And since Ghosts attack is continuous, it will continue to do that much damage to Ghost with an endless supply of wisps until the attack is cancelled!
And finally, this attack is not Holy... It's Energy-type, otherwise known as Non-Elemental.
At this point, Schwa doesn't care if he's KO'd by this circumstance... He's confident the Crimson Bubble will finish Ghost. |

Ghost was thrown backward when his soul-sucking beam was cancelled, but he kicked off of a wall and flipped back into his former position.
Ghost: Hellfire!!! How did you do that?!
He flaring with rage...really, he was burning red with fire.
Ghost: No one can counter that!!! It is impossible! ...Let's see you try it again!
Ghost prepared his attack again, too blinded by his own rage and determination to notice the Crimson Bubble that circled him dangerously. Ghost's staffspear was nearly surging out of control with white and red energy, and also unbeknownst to Ghost, it was taking negative effects on him.
Ghost: I can't let you escape...too valuable...
Ghost put the very last of his energy into his Soul Steal once more, making sure this attack was more powerful than the last one. Ghost was a mess as the tip of his spear blinked red; he was constantly phasing in and out of his physical form, and the fire burning on him from the portal was growing ever larger and more erratic.
Finally, with the help of all of the evils in the Netherworld, he was able to perform Soul Steal one last time...the dark, yet colorful beam shot out onto Schwa again, even more powerful this time!

"Now WAY will I let you do that! I am SCHWA!!!"
On "SCHWA", rainbow-colored ether flares up over Schwa's whole body, stretches across the beam and dissolves it. Schwa has ALSO hit Full Power, being aided by thousands and thousands of his dead Psi Warrior comrades who are sending him their power through the Etheral Dimmension. The ether he sent, which contains energy from all those Psi Warriors, had just enough pure Good energy to cut through the Evil energy contained in the soul-stealing beam and destroyed it-- but not before the beam dealt quite a stress on Schwa's physical body. He's barely hanging on, but he doesn't show it.
"I can do this. Destiny says so! "Crimson Bubble!" (echo effects)
Schwa throws red ether into the center of the room, which forms into a ball. Then the ether quickly jumps over to Ghost and orbits him exactly like the blue wisps did earlier.
"Time is my ally," Schwa quetly says to himself, awaiting Ghost's next move. "Just a bit longer..."
OOC: Hint on what Crimson Bubble does... I'm guessing this battle will end up in a double KO. That's just a GUESS, though.  |

The neutral wave destroyed all of the portals with a puff of yellow mist.
The first ring that came at Ghost through his drain attack did very little damage to him, as he still was immune to the type of energy, but his immunity promptly ran out after that. For some reason, Ghost continued to clutch his weapon, sustaining the beam. The holy rings hit him repeatedly, each time dealing critical damage instead of healing him, but that seemed to be his intention

OOC: Ah ha, so THAT was your healing move. I knew it. 
"That won't do you any good..."
As the beam connects, pulses of Holy energy start travelling across the beam to shock Ghost, as long as the beam is connecting with Schwa.
"You should've known by your Soul-detection move that any moves that directly have anything to do with my soul, my soul without a body to interfere, will hurt you. It is more powerful than all the Holy Gods combined."
The spirits have reached Schwa by now, and Schwa finishes charging. "Neutral Wave!!" (echo effects)
Schwa launches a huge, spiky, green shockwave from his plams, one that spans the entire width of the room. Though this effect doesn't do any damage to main fighters, it does incredible damage to any summoned creatures on the field, and it also removes any status ailments/upgrades/charged-up energy from non-summoned creatures it hits. In this case, the portals that spawn the spirits are damaged along with the spirits.
"You aren't getting anywhere in our battle, are you?" Schwa mocks his foe. |

The spirits reach Schwa and attempt to grab him, though their success at this time didn't seem likely. However, more kept coming out of the portals, and the end of them wasn't near!
At the same the first wave reached Schwa, a beam of clear energy shot out of Ghost's spear and latched onto Schwa, tracking his soul (so there wasn't any chance to avoid it). After it settled onto him, rings started traveling down the beam from Schwa to Ghost, each ring stealing some of Schwa's life force and giving it to Ghost! However, this was only in preparation for the next step of Ghost's plan...

"Nice! Time to use the new move I learned recently."
Schwa does a few more backflips to get as far away from the Spirits as possible. Then, as they get closer, Schwa begins charging up energy into his right fist... charging up green ether. Hmm... Of the seven Psi Elements, green ether symbolizes Wisdom. That means this attack should be related to that in some way or another.
The Spirits should reach Schwa just in time for Schwa to finish charging.
OOC: Muhuhaha... Part of the fun of long-term Sim-Battling is new moves! Of course, this move doesn't show up in my Profile... Yes, only moves that have been executed at least once by Schwa will show up. Nervous? |

Hahah! That's the way to do it! Take out the portal thingies...

The portals instantly closed up in contact with Schwa's lavender beams, leaving Ghost with his power-ups for only a few more minutes. Still, he figured he wouldn't need them much longer anyway...he was preparing to go in for the kill. Ghost hung up his shield on his back, and held his left arm out. With a few waves of his hand, he chanted in a strange language...
Runes lit up with a green-yellow glow on all of the stones comprising the shrine. After this, more green-yellow flashes indicated that odd circles had appeared on the ground in front of them. And, out of the many circles rose up countless Undead spirits! They all made their way to Schwa to grab a hold of him and slow him down, but not to hurt him.
During all of this, Ghost held his spear back, charging it up for something...

OOC: About the same as Ghost's... low. I knew this battle would be evenly matched.
"Damn, this ain't good..."
Schwa brings ether up to deflect the first blow, but after Alpha Gamma Omega, all the ether was good for was to prevent a cut. The first three hits hit Schwa for full damage, but Schwa manages a high jump before the fourth hit would strike, and in midair he performs a technique.
"Moonbeam of Stormbird!!" (echo effects)
Out of Schwa's palms fly a total of four lavender beams. Each beam is aimed at each one of the four portals surrounding Ghost. These beams have the effect of eroding forms of energy they touch... Bigger forms of energy take longer to erode, but these portals, being small, should be eroded almost immediately.
As Schwa falls, beams still held against their targets, he lands on the ground and does a great backflip to get away from Ghost. From a distance, he can keep the beams on their targets until they're all eroded.
"I won't be having any upgrades in MY domain, thnak you very much... Not when you play by the rules of a Psi Warrior." |

A white light surged up through Ghost's spear, then into his arm, and settled into his torso, where it burned brightly for a moment before dying out again. Again, the Holy damage it dealt more damage than it would have to someone not Undead. Still, Ghost was pleased to learn this about Schwa

When Ghost searches for Schwa's soul, he finds more than he may want...
Schwa's soul is in his own body, but according to the readings, it is more powerful than ALL Holy Gods combined!!!
Furthermore, searching for it seemed to automatically activate a backlash effect, sending a pulse of Holy energy from the soul into the tip of the spear (or whatever was used to detect the soul), which would travel along the spear and shock Ghost with Holy damage.
Schwa laughs. "You now know that I am a TRUE embodyment of Good. This body, however, greatly limits my infinite power. Same with every Psi Warrior out there.
"Finish the job? Sure thing. Die, Ghost!" Schwa doesn't waste time. "Alpha Gamma Omega!!" (epic boom)
Using the gathered energy from absorbing the ball, Schwa doesn't even need to charge up to use this move. Schwa's strongest ability is actually a combo. First, two thin red beams fire out of Schwa's plams at Ghost, which would do minor non-elemental damage and lower Defense. Second, two spirit-like wisps are launched out, which home in on Ghost, and do no damage but paralyze the target. And third, Schwa brings his hands apart, and a GIANT ball of Holy/Psychic energy forms (diamater 30 feet) in front of Schwa, and is launched at Ghost at a fast speed for unbelievable Holy/Psychic damage. Furthermore, if the Defense-lowering beams hit as well, this step would be even more devestating.
However, using such a powerful attack, charging or not, costs Schwa a turn to block no matter what. He's wide-open. |

Ghost returned to a standing position by floating up.
Ghost: Heh heh...you'd have been better off finishing the job, boy!
The tip of his spear turned green for a moment. What it was doing wasn't really an attack, and took so little time that it didn't interfere with his turn, yet it was crucial to Ghost nonetheless. Ghost's weapon, when it flashed green, was searching Schwa, the whole planet, all of space, and all of the dimensions to find Schwa's soul! Wherever it was...Ghost would then know where to find it. He did this because though most people have their souls inside of them, some people take the precaution of keeping their souls in a more secure place. He needed to know where it was if he was going to demonstrate his greater powers...
After the quick flash, Ghost pointed his spear forward, and suddenly zipped forward at Schwa at the speed of sound! This, of course, would be hard to dodge, and if Ghost hit Schwa, he would go through him to get behind him.
Ghost: Looks like I have some new tricks from the lad I met before you arrived...some quite useful ones, too.

A long pause later, Schwa speaks.
"I see. Let me have a quick word with Sensae for a moment..."
He turns half around, and telepathically contacts Sensae. "Okay Sensae, so you say I'm a black and white thinker. I think it's time you told me what that means. What's Ghost's deal?"
"All I say is this. Just because he is an Undead... does NOT necessarily mean he's Evil."
"WHAT!!? That... totally goes against everything you've ever taught me!"
"Does it really? Are you sure?"
"Never mind. I'll deal with him the Psi Warrior way."
"You'll never defeat him if you don't respect him."
Half ignoring the last of Sensae's comments, Schwa truns back around and brings his hands up. "Okay... I choose to absorb the energy from Plasmatech Barrier!"
The ball decends into Schwa's body, and his whole body becomes coated in brilliant, rainbow-colored ether. He's supercharged! All attacks are stronger and some can be performed without charging up first.
"All Evils can be put to an end. NOTHING can change that! After I finish you, I will move on to your master and defeat him... that is, if your plan evven succeeds! Now, fight me and fight well!" |

(The netherworld hunter was defeated in the comet storm.)
Ghost violently reappeared from the ground and returned to his solid state, sort of gasping in a way, and fell to the ground again. He held himself up, exhausted from the last attack he made, and was really at Schwa's mercy for the time.
Ghost (aside): That last spell should have felled him...he must really be who he says he is...

Schwa is pelted with a few of the skulls, mostly unharmed. He's got the color issue under control now, when he notices Ghost make a monstro-sized attack... He looks up.
"No way... Ghost, you're no normal Undead, are you?"
Schwa thinks for a moment before the storm hits, for a way to protect himself. He comes up with a solution.
"Summoned friends! I want you to do your best and fend off any meteors that come directly toward me. If they're a little off, don't worry about them. Now go!"
The four creatures nod and stand ready. Schwa makes his next maneuver. "Plasmatech Barrier!" (echo effects)
Out of an invisible portal above Schwwa fly hundreds of tiny, tiny blue etheral ribbons. They fly and srround Schwa, wrapping him up in a perfect coccoon. None of Schwa's body is visible anymore.
The meteors strike! The four summoned creatures launch attacks at any meteors that fly directly towards Schwa, and then, one at a time, sacrifice themselves to finish off those meteors. Soon there are none left, but one last meteor exists and is falling for a direct hit, without any way for Schwa to protect himself. So...
...Schwa takes one direct hit! The physical damage is even higher than normal, as Schwa can't bring up protective ether in his current state, but the Cosmic, Light, Spirit and Fire damage is all reduced, thanks to Plasmatech Barrier. The meteor bursts upon contact with the coccoon and, though it can't be determined by appearance for now, it's clear that Schwa took a BIG hit for the team.
10 seconds after the storm is over, the ribbons fly off Schwa and gather above his head into a huge white ball of light. Schwa is breathing hard, and he stares at Ghost (after Ghost remerges from the ground).
"See this ball? It contains ALL the raw attack power from any elemental-based damage I would've recieved without defending. Yes, I took a major hit from the physical aspect of your meteor, but because the majority of the attack was elemental, well... basically YOU just sealed your own fate.
"I could simply throw this sphere at you at a fast speed and defeat you... OR I could absorb this sphere and gain incrediable mana. When I engaged you as a foe, I had the intentions of destroying you in one hit. You're Undead, after all, and I'm a Psi Warrior. Therefore, that would be common. But... something now tells me I shouldn't play so offensively against you. I have no idea why, as my natural Psi Warrior instincts SCREAM at me to destroy, destroy. But no, this is different...
"Ghost, I ask you in a completely honorable and respectful way... What is this 'schedule' you speak of? You obviously are no ordinary spirit."
The sphere of light still floats above Schwa's head, waiting either to be absorbed by Schwa or flung at Ghost.

Ghost faded to avoid the spirit ball shot at him from the pumpkin. Oddly, when the blue ball passed through him, it turned red, having been deprived of its spirit charge; the spirit attack had hit Ghost, though it still didn't hurt him. The normal fireball crashed into a wall.
Many of the little skulls heading for Schwa were taken out, but there were still a few left that tried to avoid the beams, and they continued to fly toward him.
Ghost: Actually, I do have much to do, and you are really getting on my nerves by hindering me here. No more games now, your wisps are all finished!
Ghost: Celestial Rage!!!
Out of the night sky, a storm of HUGE comets appeared, heading straight for the battle! This was a very powerful attack that would deal Light, Cosmic, Fire, and Spirit damage (as well as physical, of course) to all it hit. It is also extremely hard to dodge, so the summons are all likely to be destroyed...including the hunter, since the attack damages everyone. This took about all of Ghost's mana...
Before the comets hit, Ghost phased out and fell through the ground, completely out of sight, leaving everyone else to fend for themselves...the storm would last half of a minute. |

The Inviso Mantis simply phases through the Hunter, but that seems to put Schwa at the mercy of it's little combo. He ducks backward, and the claw nicks him minorly while the hook barely misses.
"Yeah? Undeads don't HAVE schedules."
Schwa does a frontflip over the Hunter to get behind it. He then notices Ghost's little skull attack...
"Whuh-oh! Those things home in, so the Gyrowell should have no effect on 'em... Only one thing to do! Moonbeam of Stormbird!" (echo effects)
Schwa holds his palms up, and the ether surrounding them becomes a deep purple. Four thin beams of purple light, two from each palm, fire out at the skulls aimed at him and stay consistent (not a pulse, flashlight-style). These beams have the effects of eroding just about any form of energy, though the more complex the energy is, the harder it dissolves (such as Oracle energy). Schwa tries to sweep the four thin beams slowly across the skulls aimed at him to dissolve them all. Since they're small, they should go easily compared to something bigger (like a full sized energy shield, for example).
Combo Soldier tries slashing at the skulls aimed at him with the spear, but it doesn't affect them much and he's hit by nearly all of them. It knocks him half-unconscious, as the Dizzy effect had worked on him.
Ghastly Pumpkin fires at Ghost again from where he's sitting.
And the 4th Wisp activates, having studied the hits Ghost got on Combo Soldier. It becomes some metallic, bone-grey sphere, with no face but many cannon-like holes on all sides.
"Whoa! You hit with a skull attack and THIS is what appears? Oh, I know what those cannons do!" Schwa chuckles... |
