Oh, I know how to use them, just wondered if I could add and delete them. Thanks.

You can't add or remove them, though you can change the ones that are already there... I'm pretty sure it says how to use that in LM's help file... Overworld Editor Documentation > Overworld Menu > Exit Level Tile Settings.

Ahh, thanks a bunch! I think I can actually start to seriously edit. I've just been fooling around in the level editor so far. Another question, now. I'm in the Exit Level Tile Settings. How do I add and delete exits? Or can't I? Because the dialouge box only asks which exit index I wanna use and where I wanna exit to. There's no apparent way to add or delete exit indexes.

I'm going to assume they can't be added or subtracted (short of ASM), feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Sprite Editor Mode > move Mario around.
2. You don't.
3. In Layer 1 16x16 Editor Mode or Layer 1 Event Editor Mode, select a level tile to access Modify Level Tile Settings. Select a fortress, switch palace, or top of a castle to access Destroy Level Tile Settings. Select an exit path to access Exit Level Tile Settings. Select a star or pipe to access Star and Pipe Level Tile Settings.

I'm on the overworld editor and I've finally gotten a hang of setting up Mario's pathes, and rearranging the graphics. A few issues have arisen. I'll put numbers next to each question, so you can reference which one you'll be answering for me, without having to quote the whole post.

In the normal SMW, Mario starts in a sub-world-map, Yoshi's Island. I've seen other hacks start on the main world map. (1) How do I go about dictating where Mario starts, and furthermore, (2) how do I dictate the boundries of the world map? What I mean is, as I'm building my world map, how do I differentiate between the world map, and sub-maps? Or can I only use what they've given me (i.e. one big overworld and six little sub maps)? Lastly, on the overworld editor, there are four grayed-out buttons.
