Since my favorites change every so often, i'll post here
Rozen Maiden- I need to finish watching this... but from what i've seen so far, it's good. Quite funny at times, but how the dolls fight with things such as teapots and scissors and toys is pretty cool.
Kannazuki no miko- Mecha and Lesbians. What's not to love? =o Plus it has one of the best KOTOKO songs ever as an opening theme.
GaoGaiGar- I need to finish watching this one too. I like the premise of the Zonders so far, and Guy is fucking cool. GGG Final gets bonus points for MIC SOUNDERS THE THIRTEENTH.
still above all though... is Nadesico. |

Pokemon: This was the first anime I got into seriously, being involved with the trading card game and the video games. I adored it and stopped watching around the Johto arc, although since I babysit now I catch an occasional episode with May and all the fancy new Pokemon.
Digimon: This is one of my favorite series ever - although I tend to not like the last three seasons of it. I only enjoyed Digimon and Digimon 02 and still roleplay it to this day, because I am a huge dork like that
I have like, 10 tapes recored with only Pokemon. Most of it is Johto episodes. I don´t watch it much anymore nor play the card game.
I´ve started to watch Digimon, though.
As for anime:
Ranma½ Love Hina GTO
Well, those are the few I´ve seen. I have Full Metal Alchemist on the compy but I haven´t watched one single episode yet.
Btw, this thread has a lot of bumps. |

Evangelion: Everyone seems to enjoy this series and I do as well, so I can't argue with it. I watched it during a hard time in my life and it sort of made me think a lot about my life and where I wanted to go. I still enjoy reading upon other's theories about the series.
Tenjou Tenge: Something about a school that has a bunch of students that just fight each other, with a more sinister reason behind that just strikes at me. I love this series and can't wait for more. |

I was so pissed when Hughes left, but I knew he wouldn't stay. Here's a little secret between me and you FMA fans.... http://www.mirkx.com |

Originally posted by Trunxy/Dogan Izlude, no offense, but I really don't see how One Piece is repetitive. At all. In fact, it's quite the opposite. I would say it's HARDLY predictable; even though there's ALWAYS an adventure, the course of events NEVER occur the same way twice, and the formula is always different.
And sorry to sound rude, but is there anyone out there who started watching fullmetal alchemist because it sounded interesting, not because of what other people said? I mean, when I heard about it, the series hadn't even come out; there was an article in Newtype USA. So I was interested by the plot and downloaded a couple of episodes...then I got hooked and still am watching it.
By repeatitive I mean how the fights are. Yes, stuff is unpredictable (somewhat), but each fight is sort of the same. Like how Luffy always takes the main enemy and nobody else even bothers. Yeah, Luffy is the captain of his crew and him taking on the main enemy pirate does make sense, but nobody else in his crew ever tries it. And how fights are almost always fairly even, and by the time the enemy loses, the good guy is on the brink of death. Stuff like that. You know it's going to happen each fight, and it does. Plotwise, no it's not repeatitive at all and it is interesting.
When I first started watching Full Metal Alchemist, there were about ten episodes or so posted on animesuki.com for BitTorrent downloads. I was looking for something new to watch, so I downloaded it. I had no idea what I was downloading and I hadn't heard anything from anyone else about it. That's usually how I download all my anime I like starting off watching something not knowing what to expect from it. I was hooked after the first episdoe, and I've followed it all the way up to episode 46 |
