the glitches are more or less the vertical seam of the background. Shame Lunar Magic isn't capable of using that wasted space for a good cause.

You also have to careful about going Up or Down too far (depending on the Vertical BG Scroll Settings "Constant, Variable, and Slow"). That can cause the BG to look messed up, because the glichy animated gfx are actually part of the Background (you can even have this happen in Horizontal Levels).

Thanks, Atropos. I was wondering that myself. (I get around it by using layer 2 vertical levels.) And it's odd numbers.

But whatever screen you entered from, just move it up or down one screen and that will go away. Just a glitch in the programming of Vertical levels.

Those "mid-way-sticks" are in the BG when i play the level, but not in LM.
