All Euro-using members of the European Union. You'll note that iTunes Music Store has only been released for 4 different currencies so far, US Dollars, Candian Dollars, UK Sterling, and Euro. I'm fairly sure that's the explanation why Luxembourg has iTunes Music Store, and not countries like Sweden and Denmark (which still use Kroners).

Yes, but isn't that also in part because of the Japanese marketplace? That's why the Japanese versions of albums by American usually have more in the way of bonus tracks and such. You know, to make up for the price.

I say it is markup... Japanese artists have two copies of their same CD--one for sale in Japan, and one for "overseas". However, the overseas one is about $10 cheaper.

anyways, if the iTunes Music Store starts featuring Japanese artists, I may start using it

I don't really like that store. I can never find what I'm looking for.

We have it in Canada (FINALLY), yes, but it's not like I purchase music on a regular basis to begin with. :\ So no, I don't touch it.

We've had free iPod promotions in Canada through Pepsi (which I never won...) but no free iTunes - YET.

...$1.80 AUS? What the deuce is that? Hope they have a promotion not unlike the Pepsi iTunes one there...

By "released" I meant "pending" not.. quite yet. Apparently stupid actor Russell Crowe let it slip when he wasn't supposed to, whilst promoting his dodgy music.

I have had a look at iTunes Music Store a little before, but I noticed I can't buy anything yet. I'm definitely looking forward to being able to, there were a few obscure tracks I found that I want, but can't get anywhere else

I use iTunes all the time. It's so much cheaper than actually buying cds from stores and what not. Also, if you buy entire albums you get major discounts. Got a 15 track album for 9.99 which is really nice. Also, tehy have some cool free downloads that are mostly notthat good but occasionaly are amazing. Also, they ahve some increadible playlists to download that range from specific artists to genres and what not. It's definately awesome. And if you're so inclined and you're on a network you can use ourTunes to get stuff for free, but i don't do taht cause i love the industry and i do whatever i can to support it.

Lots of media places have been claiming for quite some time now that iTunes Music Store would be coming to Norway today, but I still don't see nothing official from Apple. Then again, when I go to the iTunes Music Store, I don't see Australia on the list, yet here you are, claiming Australia has got it now. The list I see before me says Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, UK, USA.

Finally. Finally fucking being released in Australia, and WHAT are they going to charge for it? $1.80 a song!

This is a fucking joke! That's nearly $2 US (the US pays 99 cents for the same fucken song).

Still, stoked that the iTMS is coming to Aus. Hopefully this means I will be able to legally *cough* get those obscure songs that my step-father* wants for him though.

It'll be good to just purchase a song and be supporting an artist I like. There are tons of artists that I'd just want one or two songs, rather than the whole thing.

But still, the price hike is unnecessary.

Anybody use the iTMS in your countries? I know it's available in the US and UK, but not sure where else...

* note, step-father not technically step-father but just calling him that anyways cause it's shorter than "Mum's long term partner"
