Yeah, I agree with BMF. Just wait til' Darth Mole/blackhole releases SS. As for the loops, just forget about it. Have it Mario-style. |

I wonder if it really would be so difficult to make an ASM hack so that Mario could run on the ceiling, not just on the walls using the triangle block.. kinda like how the star lets you do that in YI's... it doesn't seem like it would be, since the basic idea would just be the same as running on the walls.. only on the ceiling instead. |

I'm sorry, but that's a really lame idea. Unless you figured out some way to hook the MIDI player into the emulator (as I've mentioned before), we'd have to to listen to the SAME TRACK throughout the entire game. No thanks. Just stick with the SMW music until Blackhole releases his editor. |

In my opinion, just nix the loops. It isn't going to work well enough to look right unless some serious (or maybe just semi-serious) hacking is involved.

Now why did that rom have to go missing? X_X It was just a square of boost blocks with two openings in the side and bottom, the bottom one small enough to run over and the one you enter through just large enough for Mario to fit through... I should have the custom tileset around somewhere, you'll probably find it on http://keoro.dyndns.org/misc when I figure out where I put the zip... |

Since you are making it a mario-sonic style game that is probly the best way to go anyways, and the loops you had made of blocks in your screens looked pretty good. I was just pointing out that it was just short of impossible for Aoseishou to have made the level he claims he made, I wasn't trying to start a flame war. |

Ok ok,It will no have loops Sonic Style,There will be loops made by blocks,yeah that's the only choice I have but,I will try to make a good use of that Triangle that makes Mario walk on walls. |

Next, loops as we know them from Sonic may be impossible, but with a little hacking to the pink corner running blocks.... y'know, the ones that make you run up walls... you could implement them. Or, for all we know, he's not even talking about the kind of loops you guys are. |

Dude, chill. I'm pretty sure you could construct a very crude loop using acceleration blocks. Mario just wouldn't run around the inside of it, he'd be "thrown around". I can't say some pictures wouldn't help his credibility, though.

Actually he did! Read the damn post "I once made a level called "Techno TILT" that had a giant set of tubes and a loop plus a couple of "dash traps" with opposing boost blocks for floor tiles." So I suggest you take your own advice, you damn hypocrit. |
