And personally, I'm tired of these polls. You do whatever you feel like doing, whatever fits the theme of your hack (as The Juggy One suggested). If you have to ask us what to do at every step of the way, you might as well put the hack up for adoption and let us finish it for you.
Anyway, keep the Shyguys. Mario recoloring has been done to death. |

Good question. I would go with the originality part. I think an ok new character would beat a very good rip. While I am not saying rips are bad, handmade creations can turn out really well. Heck, I am doing an ant as a character for my hack!
I detest Mario colorization unless it was like... I don't know, something happened to Mario... so I stick with the Shy-Guy thing, since that might turn out good... as long as the levels change... |

I've seen some Mario recolorizations, and I thought. How about a blue Mario, no red! No, I want a green Mario, how about a monochrome Mario!?
This has taken residence in my head. I can't seem to ignore it. Everytime, I edit the shyguys, I think of Mario recolorizations..... Help me. |
