Ok!

I already think the original Final Fantasy had way too many encounters...

But you're right about the template. That being said, did you already mention this hack on Zophar.net?

- Reduce monster encounters

Unchanged from Final Fantasy

- Change more areas (new map design)
- Rewrite Storyline more to not resemble Final Fantasy anymore.

There have been several Mario Final Fantasy hacks out there started but never progressed past a few graphic changes. Now that this more or less total makeover is out there maybe those ambitious types can use this as a template, and start modifying maps and stories right away rather than having to hack all the graphics and such.

Ok!

I've played a bit and I really think it's looking pretty nice so far, however what I would change if I were you:

- Reduce monster encounters
- Change more areas (new map design)
- Rewrite Storyline more to not resemble Final Fantasy anymore.

Once again, it looks great already, so great work from your part.

Bug fix - Cresent Lake had the path to the sage area blocked.

A little comment...

You STILL didn't edited GigaBowser's GFX! It looks really bad, you know!

The sprites for the "dead" state for the Peach and Daisy classes are glitched also... and when Daisy changes class, she becomes a yoshi (WFT?!?).

It would be nice if those things above would be fixed.

Use Lunar IPS or another IPS patcher/creator to patch the IPS to the rom, which you have to download seperately.

Then again, I guess FuSoYa's site isn't working or something... so someone else will have to give you the program or something

I just wanted to "Mario-ize" FInal Fantasy, so pretty much the entire flow and layout is left as is. If someone wants to edit the maps and story they can take this and run with it.

I did not make it so that you become bigger from Bahamut (put on the to do list). However, the upgrade does keep the mario graphics so you don't all of the sudden have a FF Knight.

Way to go. Most hacks look like shiz... but this one looks worthy. I am going to download. WTG this is my 1st or 2nd download from this site.

Question about upgrading. Does Bahumat upgeade the people in your party to a bigger form. Beacuse the last mario game I played is was sorta like your game and when it upgraded to a bigger form it change mario into a knight and the other into what they are.

I'm gonna try it out since I'm off work this weekend. Looks nice too, btw. Good job on putting the hack together.

I was hoping that some of the dungeons could have been rearranged at least so that I didnt know exactly where to go in all them. The hack was so-so, considering a lot of the resources were already made for you. BUT, I might add, the enemies and the characters and the NPCs are very nice. Good job.

er... looks good, but take a look at the last two screenshots. Peach, with the Hammer. See, for it to look like the hammer's being swung, you have to have it at an angle, like it was in the original. Otherwise, it looks like... well, like that. It's just a minor graphics thing, though. A few other small graphics things - that town shot with the dark green grass; in newreply on 1024x768, it's shot 1 in row 2, with 3 shots per row. That looks a bit... eh, odd. Can't inpoint the problem, though. Might be the green parts on the Hills With Eyes.

Super Mario Fantasy Adventure Continued - Hack by Acmlm, then Me, with a little from Weasel's Mario Quest
My goal was to take Acmlm's great but seemingly stagnant Mario Fantasy Adventure hack and fill it out so that it filled the whole game. I wanted to stay true to the original game in terms of flow and layout. By "completed" I mean that I am happy with it for now. Obviously more can be done and anyone is welcome to steal and try.

HIS HACK CHANGED
Starting Characters
Some Music
Some graphics
Some enemies
Some Text

MY NEW VERSION
Map reveted to original Final Fantasy map (Took out minor changes by Acmlm) - Want to make this true to the original game in gameplay.
All Characters (Daisy and Yoshi now incldued)
All Enemies Graphics and names (no stats) all enemies are now changed including bosses.
More Text
Overworld and some area maps decorated
Weapons and magic "Mario-ized"
Some map characters changed

It is pretty complete in the regard that you can play the whole game and always have "Mario-ized" content. I think I am done with this, so anyone else is welcome to pick up where I left off.

Some suggestions for people way better at this than me:
1) Making the character names more than 4 characters
2) Giving the item shops the abilitiy to purchase more than one at a time
3) More music
