Count the beeps (should be 2 or 3 series with a pause between) and look it up on Google along with your board manufacturer, you should be able to find out what the problem is. If it is the RAM there's not much chance you'll be able to fix it, just take the offending stick out (and if necessary, get a new one; if that doesn't work it might be the board itself). |

Uh...you know...you keep saying DDR...and I'm gonna keep thinking that you actually own a DDR machine. Just say RAM. At least we know that you have DDR RAM but...seriously.
If it's a series of beeps...and the system isn't loading or anything like that...I'd say it's either bad or it's not hooked in properly/loose. If that's the case...get some replacement RAM. |

Just gonna bump this so he can find it when he gets back, and ask him what the error message is. Is it just a series of beeps? |

His PC is a costume?
I am going to try to translate into English (it's obviously not his primary language):
His PC is custom built.
He obviously knows nothing about computers, using a 2.6MB bitmap image for his post background... |

How do you know that it is messed up BTW? Is it an error who appears when you start the computer?
Yes it is the error that appears when the computer is started.

A very generic question but if you're asking what I think you are:
Hell no. |
