GRRR!!!!!!!! You went out of your way to post these horrible pictures of what are clearly test areas not finished yet :crazymadstareoutsquint:. Now I have to destroy you and your whole family and the planet

Just kidding . Incidentally, the glitchy staircase in the sky in the ice level was to help me skip over part of it when I was playtesting

Did you see the patch for moving some things to FastROM so some slowdown problems are fixed?

I still have this sitting on my HD, and it's a MUCH better version than the one posted online (longer levels, more and better graphics), but I am in a total quandry with the slowdown problem. I just don't know what to do, as restoring all the custom blocks would be an insane amount of work, and I've already spend a crazy amount of time on that hack.

It just sort of pains me to think about it, you know? I want to show it to you guys, but the block problem, the slowdown, the uncertainty as to weather the new blocktool will even SUPPORT my insane amount of custom blocks...

Thanks for the thought though. The project isn't written off just yet.

Maybe it was called that because you weren't supposed to enter it? Could be unfinished or something.

Sendy, FPI, and BMF's hacks constituted the "trifecta" of hacks that I was really anticipating about a year ago. It makes me sad that both Sendy and FPI are apparently gone... after getting so much work done, no less. BMF is still here, but his hack's release is still slated for 2009 or so...

The disappearance of FPI and Sendy kinda marked the (highly subjective) end of the "Golden Era" for SMW hacking. There are plenty of nice-looking hacks now, but none that I'm watching as closely as I watched those three. Perhaps I should just pay more attention, though.

I lost my savestates, so I just used the cheat codes to get to the level to take the shots.

game genie codes, and when I was using the "fly" game genie, flying past a level, I found one of those secrets that you fly with yoshi and it turns blue.

I voted:
"I vote no, because i am a fucktard!"

No seriously, I think he should continue it. If he does, I'll be able to help him pretty soon with any programming, if needed.

If anyone never played Sendy World, you can find it in Zophar's domain.

It is simply one of my all time favorite hacks, with an excellent level design and a lot of neat and original level ideas.

Sendy and FPI have been my rom-hacking idols for long time...yeah, those 2 hackers are simply the best ones (imo).

Anyway, Sendy was having some slowdown problems in his hack mainly coz of the custom blocks, and he said that he would have a lot of work to do to fix the problem, if i remember correctly.

I guess BMF suggested him to move his custom blocks to one of the lastest map16 pages.

Anyway, if you played his hack and think he should continue his AMAZING work, please vote in one of the poll's first 3 options.

Sendy, finish Sendy's World, please! It's been a long time since we don't see the progress of your hack, and the last demo was in 2003, we do miss you
