And btw, I used a pencil to make the tip square without the dithering, changed the brush dynamics (If you click on the pencil tool, you'll see a button with a list on it near the right), then I set it to gradient overlay (Black and white), stroke (black size 1), and colour overlay (Orange).

It looks fine to me, although the typo is doubly distracting when you re-read the words "pixel perfect". 
From a pixel artists' perspective, I'll note that a lot of pixel artists won't consider your work pixel art, due to the fact that you've used gradients (without manually dithering -- ie, the orange) but pretty much nobody but a pixel purist will care.  I will call it art with pixel art elements. 
It looks fine to me, and I like the contrast in the colors. |

That's a pretty bad typo 
But, erm... yeah. It's nothing shocking (just a typical logo that would probably do better centered) and the font that the larger letters use is kinda wierd, but it's okay...
