Hey, those screenshots are awesome. Change the palletes on the title screen a little and change some of the letters in the font you use, though.

But still, those bg and fg graphics are freakin' sweet. Hell, you even gave the layer 3 status bar a nifty blue shine. If your gameplay is as good as your graphics, you just might give SMO a run for its money.

But still, making your gameplay as good as your graphics is a pretty tall order.

Some people can do really awesome graphics, but only one with l33t levelmaking and map16 manipulating and sprite-editing skillz and who hex edits or ASM hacks like a madman also can make this a truly good hack.

And I already have evidence that you can't level edit as good as you make graphics... just look at how you put those bushes on top of the ruin object. It looks crummy.

There's nothing horribly wrong with this. Copyright thing is a bit hard to read down there though.

Okay. You clearly see the land from above... But Mario is still two-dimensional, as usual. Disorienting. (Yoshis in water look nice though)

The background looks... Awkward. Did you take this from a 3D game? It makes it look like the planet you're on is ridiculously small. This isn't too bad if it's on a different planet or something than most of it (which I suppose is possible since the title screen shows space) but eh. Not to mention that the bushes in the background look *nothing* like the bushes in the foreground, because they have so much more detail to them.

You shouldn't have a diagonally downward view of the foreground if you don't have one of Mario. It makes it look like he's on a huge slope. Hell, it's not even the same diagonally downward view that you have in the welcome one.

I froze SMW3 for a while now and started working on another hack called:
Mario: The Final Battle.
Not even one level is finished, but I though to show you 4 screenshots.
