lol. i usually have layouts off so i missed his retarded signature. These lame people really crack me up . They're like the anti-conformist renegade "i'm-so-different-and-hardcore" angsty teenager from middle/high school of the Internet and web developement.

don't support firefox: because you're going-against-the-grain attitude and your linkin park make you hardc0re

Judging from his sig "I do not support W3C" -- I think it's safe to say he doesn't know what proper HTML is -- or he doesn't know what W3C is. In either case, his beef with firefox is misplaced.

What?

What doesn't it display properly? Are you sure your html isn't screwed? Example code of what messes up?

If you really want to go up a bit in speed, you can try this page full of Mozilla aplication enhancements. I'm told it works quite well, but I haven't tried it out yet myself.

I'm sure this has been discussed in Hardware Software before, but this thread should really go into that forum, not this one. It's not really programming....

Got this from a friend but here...

1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will
make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

On a broadband connection This will load MUCH faster!!
