Another boss song. Man, I like boss themes, seriously.
3- Beat The Angel (Tales of Symphonia)
Another one from Tales of Symphonia. Self descriptive, really. Also, if you still haven't noticed (even if I said it already), boss themes are my favorite.

Ah, yes, VG music takes up a good chunk of my Ipod. Let's see 4 good ones (in no particular order):
1) Assignment Ada Title Theme - Resident Evil 4: Well, I have been a RE junkie for years, and something about this jazzy little number just holds my interest. ------------->
2) The Ultimate Bio Weapon - Resident Evil 2: To me, this seems like one big consolidation of all the best music in the game. 7:20 of pure RE bliss in music form.
5) 1000 Words - FFX2: It was a good song to begin with, but the cutscene that went with it blew me away the first time I saw it. Excellent stuff.
6) The Immortals - Mortal Kombat: Not quite sure if this is first from the movie, or the Sega CD version, but it's still an awesome piece of gaming music.
Again, you should have picked a bigger number than four...  |

Final Fantasy VII - One Winged Angel :: What else can I say about this song? It is one of the best final boss songs in a video game, really... and adding it into Kingdom Hearts gives it more points. Very catchy song and in FFVII, the battle went with the song hand-in-hand. Really nice.
Kingdom Hearts - Simple and Clean :: Very nice vocal song. When it plays it fits in really well. I like it...
Halo 2 - Blow Me Away (Vocal Version) by Breaking Benjamin :: Really, really, really awesome song. Too bad the vocal version was not in the game, but even without the voices the song is really awesome...
Starcraft - Radio Free Zerg :: Best. Song. Ever. I mean, come on! You have an alien overmind singing! WOOHOO!!!

If you had as much VG music knowledge as the majority of people on here, you would have trouble too. Picking 'your top four' is hard to do because there's certain times for me that certain musics sound better. Considering I've probably gone through thousands of songs between the Underworld theme in SMB to the Boss Battle theme of Xenosaga II...you can be assured it's harder than he's making it out to be. |

My favorite video game music, let's see...
1. From Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Hedgemaze Mayhem level.
2. From Super Mario World 2, boss music for Baby Bowser.
3. From Zelda 3 A Link to the Past, boss music that's at the end of each dungeon.
4. From Final Fantasy X, I think the song was called Another World or something like that, same boss music as when you fight your father when inside Sin. |

Game music in my opinion makes up about 35% of the entire game's score. It kicks ass just listening to 'em sometimes.
I can play all of these on the piano. 
1 - Super Castlevania 4 [Belmont's Theme]
2 - Secret of Mana [Fortress Theme (not to be confused with the Mana Fortress Theme.)]
3 - Megaman 3 [Title Screen Music]
4 - Legend of Mana [Legend of Mana Theme... The one that plays when the prologue is goin' on]

All music from F-Zero, F-Zero X and Bianca City from F-Zero MV. From F-Zero GPL, I'd pick Mute City, Big Blue, Sand Ocean, Lightning and Illusion. Id pick absolutely none from GX, though Phoenix and Billy's theme songs are cool, and from F-Zero ClimaX I'd only pick Big Blue. |

I love game music, there's so many great songs I can't pick too many favorites, I'm just gonna list some off the top of my head that I love. Starting with the ever loved Mega Man series soundtrack of course.
Mega Man 7 Intro Level: One of my favorite Mega Man songs, though I'm a fan of many of the songs in 7 actually, so I won't go listing them all.  Still, this one is awesome and in the beginning of the game too!
Mega Man 7/8 Bass/Forte's Theme: Yes, I'm listing the US names yet I listed both names for Bass/Forte, mostly because I like the japanese one better and it's easier to attach 's to.
Mega Man 8 Boss Battle: Can't think of much to say about this really...
All the other Mega Man 8 songs: Okay, I'm a big fan of the soundtrack...
Mega Man Battle Network 2 Gospel Server: Another favorite Mega Man series song here, a mix of the main theme, with a cool you're near the end type mix and of course it's own part. Kinda short however, like 34 seconds long.
I'm having trouble thinking of anything elser with all this MM8 music in my head, I guess I'll repost later, but I'm gonna atleast give mention to Jun Senoue and Crush 40, of Sonic Adventure 1/2/Heroes "fame". |

You had to do something special in Sonic 3 to get it working, though.
