Ah, that would explain the missing stuff.
Looks nice, but a few problems: -Title screen is boring. -Worlds seem cluttered. -Everything in white sucks horribly. (How nice of you to colour-code it! ) -All the level paths show up before you beat the levels. Kinda tacky-looking. -Too square. -WTF is with world X? It looks like just chunks of land overtop of nothing, with level paths strewn about disregarding where there is and isn't land. |

I think that's the entire overworld map as viewed from Dragon Kingdom. You know how you can scroll around the overworld map once you're on the overworld map?
He must be at the Dragon Kingdom part of the OW and just scrolled up to those areas. |

I tried it, but there are a lot of glitches. Especially in the Bump Cave. Yoshi's head turns into Podoboo chunks! When I open a new path, it's all glitchy and stuff. In the Cargo Ship level, the boxes act really weird. Also, the ghost houses are the same as in SMW.
My favorite level is the Tidal Cave. |

1) you can still play through the entire game whether the OW works or not. 2) It happened to me (the CREATOR) to... but it looks right after saving and restarting the game.
P.S. In case you hadn't noticed, the 'Dragon Kingdom' and any fort you find are the only places you can save after all castles, Houses and switches are passed. |

i liked the midway point idea, it's similar to the one i use in Mario Legends but i use a different gfx for the midway point. Good job. it looks much better than the ordinary SMW tape, which is used in almost all hacks.

About the hack, I think the overworld looks pretty snazzy. It could use some work (especially on the submaps, they're too square), but otherwise, it looks good. It would be nice to have some level screenshots, too. |

i hope my comments won't sound too harsh, but here ya go:
-the levels have a lot of glitches. -the levels are a bit empty (bad level design =/) and not fun at all. -some levels (that second part of Iggy's Castle for example) are annoying as hell. -the levels look too much like SMW. -that Genesis album "Selling England by the Pound" has only one friggin' good song! The rest of the tracks are very bad, i thought it would be a classic of prog rock, but, come on, Peter Gabriel has a lot of talent, he could have made it at least better than the Foxtrot album. That's why i prefer Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree. -some of the gfx changes don't look too nice (the midway point, the goal point, etc etc). -there's no new level ideas.
But i'm sure you can improve a lot mate, your overworld was very well done, congrats |
