I was just about to say sword of mana  an Wrath, I heard about the Metroid movie sometime last year  I heard rumors they already found an actress and all that stuff...huh.
"I recon they should bring out a movie on halo or final fantasy, they would be great and both have excellent storylines..."
...I'll try really hard not to laugh at this one, XD It seems you havn't seen "the spirits within". Don't worry, you really havn't missed much. |

Now that I think of it, I think that Sword of Mana could make a great film, and might be able to fit into a 3 hour time slot... it MIGHT have to strecth to 3 and half... but hey! That Gettysburg movie went on for four, so, hah!
I also think that Sword of Mana could work with real actors instead of cartoons and just voice actors! It could be very kickass! You'd need some GOOD acting for the part of Devius, I think... actually, it wouldn't hurt to have good acting for all the parts.  And you MIGHT have to change the transportation to the far away islands from a cannon to something else.  |

Ok for starters, both Mario and Final Fantasy has had movies made and both of them we're complete failures IMO.
I just saw on CNN that it has now been confirmed, Metroid will be made into a movie. |

Legend of Zelda? I think not! I know I've stated this many times, but ZELDA IS WAY TOO LONG TO BE MADE INTO A 2-3 HOUR FILM!
Anyways, on topic.
From watching S.W.A.T., and in owning SOCOM II for PS2 and Rainbow Six 3 for Xbox, alls I know is that a squad-based counter terror game needs to be made into a movie. Nothin' better than seeing the Navy seals in action. |

Games to be made into Movies:
Contra, Serious Sam, Metroid, Custer's Revenge, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch: Make My Video, Steel Battilion, Crimson Skies, Kirby's Avalanche, Killer Instinct, Starcraft (that would be a helluva good movie), Mario & Luigi, Golden Sun, and The Legend of Zelda: OOT. |

I think that Chrono Trigger could have serious box office potential. It could be animated and you have some of the story cut out for time lengths, but most of it could stay. Or the important parts, at least. You can dump Johnny or something, because as cool as he is, he's not essential to the plot. And they could get rid of reviving Chrono... but if they kept it, they'd have a nice sexy scene with Marle and him kissing afterwards... that would be nice... I suppose...
I don't think CT would be a good movie in any other way than animated. I think as an anime movie, it could sell big. If there isn't one out in 10 years, I might have to take it upon myself to go find the animators of DBZ and change my profession to movie director so I can release that... 
EDIT: now that I think about it, reviving Crono would HAVE to be in the plot... because that's what the Chrono Trigger is all about.  So... have that in there... somewhere... |

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, baby. Anime, or CG...?
Hm...But...I think that Prince of Persia might be a good one, too...(Though I haven't beaten it yet.)
Or maybe Metroid Prime. |

Besides Tetris, my favourite game is Unreal Tournament 2004. I don't know how it can fit in a movie, but UT2K4-style combat would rock!  |

Metal Slug would be hot for a movie, inane shooting-action!
Super Mario RPG would really be great, but with the hole setting as in the Game, awesome.
Or Mario & Luigi Movie (Like Mario & Luigi RPG, the Japanese Name of Superstar Saga).

mario rpg? ....just not with the same cast as in SMB....*shudders* If they got freeking Mojo Nixon playing Toad in the last one....hell we'd end up with Gary Coleman as Booster, or somthing.
And all these people saying a Halo movie...I actualy never thought of that, it sounds like it could be an awesome idea if done right. Plus MS would probably find a way to advertise it to death, so it'd have to be good, that way they'd make more money. We get a good movie, they get big money off the franchise. Everyone wins |

3. Ninja Gaiden.
4. Halo.
5. Dead or Alive as long as they can get hot enough girls to play as the DOA girls.
6. Lunar. any of them.
7. Mario RPG.

I recall that at some point, Doom was having a movie made after it, but I guess it was canned. I personally would love to see a Doom live-action movie. Obviously not ripped directly from the game (not much of a story line there) but maybe have it flesh out the storyline. |
