Again, I look at this and say: It has all the same buttons as a normal GBASP... the style is just different. Why is this such a big deal?

*Rather surprised this wasn't closed because of the bump.*

This is awesome. This is finally my time to get a GBA. Jeez... June suddenly seems like a really long wait...

Regardless, thank you, Nintendo. I love you.

I think the regular SP is just fine, plus looking at the images it looks crappy, i like my SP plain color.

1) Try not to bump threads.

2) Read the thread before you reply. You'd see then that it's real.

I hope this is for real! I love the NES. I have over 35 games, a Zapper, an R.O.B., a Power Pad, and a bunch more! I already have a GBA SP, so I hope the games will work on a normal SP. Does anyone know if they will work on my SP?

I know that there's no lockout. Heck, even GB's never had region lockout.

But who wants to pay extra for overseas shipping for a Famicom one?

Collectors?

The only problem I can see with buying an GBA SP from another country is the lack of service you will get incase it dosen't work.

And that the loader may not work with your countries Voltage. (but there is convertors. )

My version. With the buttons in a recessed area like on the Famicom SP.

Whoa, that is so kickass, I want one now. Can't wait for other cool titles like Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, Castlevania, etc. So are the GBA rereleased going to retain the original NES graphics and sound, or be remade? It would be cool if there was two versions of each.

I still need to get an original NES and some games though. I've never owned one, I've only played NES games IRL like, a couple of times. Unfortuneatly, I never grew up in the NES era.

I first heard about it from TMK (I randomly browse through my bookmarks too), the NES GBA SP design looks great though, considering that the new SP's will be purchased in an record-breaking time by the time those NES GBA SP ship here, as well as the remakes.

And not to go off topic, but...

JDavis: That's an neat awesome design in the image you got there, an excellent creative piece of art indeed, that's what an NES GBA SP should look like.

You do know that the GBA has no region-based lockout, right?

Jdavis - It's better than the Jap version, but I still think it looks like ass.

NoA would hire this guy....??? WTF?!?!?! That's not how VP's should present themselves to the public, IMO.

EDIT: and according to him, I'm a dweeb, too

JDavis != dweeb.

It's also on IGN.

I made a photoshopping of an NES SP before I saw this... ignoring the lazy job I did, mine was somewhat better in my opinion I'll upload it later.
