Aha! The eyes! That's what was bothering me.... Though.. that's something I've never done.. cel-shading on eyes... Hm.. I'll remember that next time. *nod nod*
I used a mouse to color it. I never ever want to do that again unless I'm using a tablet. I had made the screen so huge and it was just slow... and... ugh.  I wanted to mimic a sketchy style.. since I like that.

I don't know why you're cowering in fear of me...  I'm not nasty when I critique, am I? (I try very hard not to be) I have to wonder if Trapster's comment is at all necessary, too btw. 
What are you using to outline? (mouse, tablet?) The linework is a little scruffy, so I'm just curious. I actually like the scruffiness, and my own linework has that quality too (I just draw really big and then shrink it so the scuffy effect is negated), so I'm just curious. 
I like the bold colors, it all looks very cute and gives a rather.. I guess I'd say "happy" feel. On a technical note, the coloring itself is very well done, good use of color theory and contrast, and very neatly colored too.
My only real critique is in the eyes -- everything else on the (main) picture (as opposed to backdrop) has a cel-shaded kind of effect to it, but the eyes are clearly airbrushed. I'd probably try to go for a cel-shaded effect there with the eyes and it'd look great. |

Found it! It's on Kirby's Rainbow Resort (classicgaming.com/kirby).
Unfortunately, it's not working right now. It has Kirby with FLUDD standing next to a Shadow-Marioised Kirby with the paintbrush. No background, though. |

Very nice! I like the way you draw Kirby.
Poor Mobile Sprout, covered in the sticky goop. Well, I guess it's not so bad... It's actually kind of fun. In Super Mario Sunshine, I remember I used to always guide Mario into throwing himself on to the goop so he'd get it all over, just because it was fun.

Yeah.. I just suddenly remembered that I haven't shown any art in here in ages. So.. Might as well enlightened you younguns...

This was meant to be just a quick outlining and coloring.. but then... It just took me a long arsed time. I never ever want to do the same steps ever again. Ever. I kinda like how this came out in color, but it's definitely not showing off my "skills"
Anyways... It's Kirbynite wearing a Mario cap.. And Moble Sprout, characters that are copyrighted to me and my friend, Mitch. However, I can easily say that it's a Kirby wearing a Mario cap, and a Mobile Sprout that's stuck in goop. |
