This thread was bumped by 3 months by Alonguy, but since this is the Game Creation Centre and KsoftFusion is still active even though he doesn't really post, I'm going to leave it open. Just make sure to check the date of the last post in a thread before replying to it.

Anyway, last time I saw this thread I wasn't able to try it since I was at college, and I guess I forgot about it after that. I tried it now and I have to say it is pretty well done. The only thing I noticed was that when I get hit by an enemy it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Its a 2.8 Megabyte file..
Anyways, Vey very nice. Is this a completly original engine? Because it feels virtually identical to the Classic Sonic Games, very impressive indeed. I had no problems with missing dll's or other files when installing. The gameplay in general runs flawlessly. There is a slight slowdown at the beginning of the level most likely because of all the item powerup block things (which you would probably never actually place like that in a REAL level.) I also got some uncomfortable slowdown in the water (which is green, why green?). Sonic should slow down in water, but right now it seems to drastic. The font used when you beat the level is a little funky too. A couple questionable enemy placement issues, but all in all, some genuine fun can be had. I only hope my game is as well put together and fun.

Great job KsoftFusion

My system:
Microsoft Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon XP 1800
1.49 GHz, 640 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9600

not bad...has a really good sonic feel to it...but in future releases, please include the dll, cncs232...I dont have multimedia fusion, so I had to download it, but its not a big deal...the only problem I saw, was that it went really laggy and slow in the water....so you might want to speed that up...and its not my pc, cause I have a Celeron 2.8ghz 728mb ram radeon 9250 128mb video card....so yea....but other then that, its all awesome.

Hi everyone. I've been working on a Sonic 3 clone called Sonic Chaos Planet for two months. I finally finished programming the game engine a while ago, so I released a second beta test. (the original wasn't good) Please help me by testing the game so far.

It is available at http://ksoftgames.digibase.ca/projects/scp/SCPEngineBeta2.exe

I'd like to know about any bugs in the engine. Also, I want your computer's processor speed, amount of RAM, and how fast it ran. I recommend not trying it on a Pentium 2, since I tested it on my old P2 450 with 320 MB RAM and it ran extremely slow.

Thanks!
