wtf?

You can't because they haven't been created. ASM is the SNES's programming language.

Probably. There was a thread around here somewhere with traces you could use, Nad-Gob.

Maybe he is talking about those blocks that you stand on, then they shake, then they fall. His subconscience is associating lava with those blocks because there are a lot of them in Bowsers Castle at the end of SMB3.

It's a block, or special info thingy that reads off as something. A lava block kills you on contact just like lava would.....

What the heck is a 'Lava' block??

there wasn't one as far as I can remember.

That block would actually be nice, and to fix the timer issue all you would need is a second custom block that resets the timer placed a few blocks up so that mario normally doesn't set it off, but does when he jumps (because then he hits it).

I was wondering when someone would mention that.

That, and as far as I know of, there was no block in SMB3 that you could stand onfor a few seconds before being hurt

A block Mario can stand on for a few seconds? Not that I know of, mainly due to timer-related difficulties. (IE resetting the timer when Mario leaves the block.)

If you want the SMB-style lava, just enable Layer Priority, set it to act like tile 25, and make sure there's a gap underneath it.

with SMB3 style... you have to make the top tile of the lava an instant-death block.

No need to make another thread, I'll just rename this one.

*edits the old ones as well to remove the FAQ bit*

K, guys I apologize, I'll make another thread like what u said

But I meant: Is there a block like the lava block in SMB existing in Block Tool ?

Now is that alright !!?!

That's not the point, it's just annoying that he uses it in nearly every thread title.
Can't you just name it like this:
"Is there a lava block from SMB3 for SMW" or How can I make custom blocks"

Ehehem...
FAQ means "Frequently Asked Questions" (a list of questions and the answer to them), not "I've Got Yet Another Question". That would be IGYAQ.

First off, it would be bad to make Mario standing on a lava block.
2nd: Same what blackhole said.
3rd: Your question are dumb and I request a ban if you won't stop asking those damn questions.

First off, why the heck do you always put "FAQ" in your thread title? ;;;
Second, if you say you want a custom block without asm, you are looking for a custom block which does nothing at all. Custom blocks are done with asm.
Third, it would be quite easy to do if you use asm. So I don't see any reason why not.

Hey, is there any way of making that "hot lava block" which Mario can stand on for few seconds, without requiring any ASM (Basicly is there any custom block which acts like it ? ) Thanx again and
