Marx is cute. Anyway, you are right. Ever since Dark Matter AKA Nightmare came up, things weren't so good. King Dedede is now a greedy bully, Meta-knight is Kirby's "legendary arch fiend", and Everything is everything else!!!! At least Kirby knows what to do in certain situations like that! |

Not saying Dark Matter was in Super Star, just saying that Dark Matter (which can also be "Nightmare" from Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland.) is the only true evil. Everyone else seems to be semi-good. Even Marx probably meant well, he just let his greed get the best of him. |

Not to mention, why the hell would you think he's under the sea with his airship? The dude can fly, and was outside the area last we saw him. |

Dark Matter is NOT IN IT! Not! Not! Not not not not! I guess Meta is still suffering from the repercussions, though. Anyway, Meta-knight is presumably under the sea with his airship. Poor little mask wearing friend. |

No, Meta-Knight was possessed by Dark Matter in Super Star. I'm pretty sure that was said in the instruction booklet. However, I'm pretty sure Nightmare (Kirby Adventure) is a bad guy, too, Kirby PopStar |

Dark matter isn't even IN Superstar! Waddle Dee is summoned up from nowhere by Kirby! AND Metaknight was like a bat monster who eventually goes down with his ship! |

They are ALL posessed. Even King DeDeDe is usually either posessed or misunderstood. A Waddle Dee turns out to be a helper, Cook Kawasaki isn't so bad after all, Meta-Knight is actually a friend rather than a foe... The Kirby world is weird in that sense. The only true enemy is Dark Matter. |

Many characters in the Kirby series have been known to seem to switch sides. However, I'm sure I can find a reason that he would attack Kirby in Superstar and then turn sides in Dreamland 3. I don't count Right Back at Ya however, because it's been stated before, here or not, that the series is a separate universe. One possibility is that he simply "seen the light" and became a good guy. Another possibility is that he is still not on the side of good in 3 and simply wants Kirby to get rid of Dark Matter. It's also possible he didn't want to do it and just had to, but your picture shows easy evidence against that, I mean, look at his face =P One unpossibility is that KDL3 took place in a different Kirby universe, which some say, because another game of the series only released in Japan, Kirby no Kirra Kizzu(I'm not sure if I got that right), while a puzzle game, is still part of the story, and yet it features characters from the supposed other "universe" like MetaKnight. One last possibility is that they just made a mistake, or reused a likeable looking character.
We need more Kirby threads like this, that was fun. Maybe someone will ask about MetaKnight so I can pull out the "He was possessed in Revenge of MetaKnight, it was officially said by HAL" card. |

Is he a friend or an enemy? He is a good guy in Kirby Right Back at Ya and Kirby 3, yet why was he such a potential threat in Kirby Superstar?
If this isn't in the right place please moved my thread elswhere..... |
