"Basically, remove it to remove half of the atmosphere."
You mean remove it and stop feeling nauseous. Something about it just makes me feel sick, and I've heard of other people who get at least dizzy from the HUD lag. And mind you, I honestly think that removing it does nothing to degrade the game's fantastic atmosphere. ![](images/smilies/tongue.gif) |

Well, not really an opinion, because it IS there for atmosphere. That's the purpose of the HUD lag and suchforth. And I've never heard of anyone feeling sick because of it, I certainly don't, I'm too busy paying attention to all the Space Pirates and stuff.
But I suppose some people might get motion sickness from it. |

Or not. It's just an opinion. Sorry if I find myself getting dizzy when I'm seeing the inside of a helmet and the HUD move around when I'm not moving. =/ |

When you're turning, the HUD will kind of "shift" over slowly following your movements. The HUD is your ammo, and all of that, as you probably know. (Heads up display)
It kind of annoys me, but so did the helmet. I took both the helmet off and the HUD lag. That way, when I turned the HUD would follow my view exactly. |
