I was bored on the train.. hehe.
Played some Marathon Mode too, but it's not worthy to mention here.
So, played a little more in Marathon Mode:
2nd try: 205 Lines, Score 209776

Well of course. At Level 9 they're 12,000, and 15 they're 18000 a piece. So ... yep.
Plus you tried 3 times. I only tried once.  |

I always play the puzzle mode in that game. Beaten it once too...

Ultra mode is basically a 3minute "get lots of points as fast as you can" mode.

I like Bust-A-Move and Snood (almost the same game, really ) more than Tetris, but I'm not bad at Tetris. My best for 2 min mode is 33 lines, so... I don't think 41 is absurdly high... best ever for non-timed was 220-225... I forget exactly how much it was... Bust-A-Move's multiplayer is more fun though.  As is Snood's. And in the Snood (the version that was out 2 years ago, anyway), I was able to, without saving, get 500K+ pts. on Puzzle Mode. That is one of the few puzzle games I can officially say I kick ass at! |

Yea no kidding...I owned the PSX version...and I was surprised how freaking easy the GB was in comparision with to the PSX.
And Tetris DON'T level you up immediately in the GB version...nothing does unless you're at the top...and even then a Tetris in here will get you a good ways but not full. |

I played the PS version of that... it's a bit harder...
And yep, tetrises level you up immediately I believe. STill though, I'm hoping that's just a crappy GB game.

Yes...that was the point of this thread...
EDIT: Oh...did a few things here in Tetris Plus:
Obviously, it's a lot easier than DX and a lot weirder in it's style (as in level ups are NOT prone to 10 lines a piece). And me getting to Lv. 48 should say that it's easy enough. |

Well...decided to get DX tonight and try it once in Marathon just to see how rusty I've become:
It's not bad...considering Lv. 20 on up I was halfway up in the height and just couldn't get down. Managed to pull a Tetris around Lv. 14 or so. After that it was mostly doubles and singles with the occasional triple. |
