Korra poses and shouts zealously, "Awright! Fire the Waves!"
With a nod, Ami raises her elevation to 14 feet as the grid surrounding her unfolds into a 10x10-sphere wall in front of her. The spheres then fire at both Ex and Kire, 10 at a time, each group of 10 in an intricate, difficult-to-dodge formation. The spheres by themselves don't do a lot of damage, but when it adds up this is a very dangerous attack.
And Korra doesn't waste any time as he charges up electricity into his right arm again! |

Kire shifts his weight a bit, and divine energy starts becoming more evident. |

Ex *thinks* I have a bad feeling about this...
Dark Weapon: "Don't worry! We can block this attack... as long as it is in shield form! So... what do you say? Wait for the enemy to strikes and counter it... or shall we cancel out that attack while we can?"
Ex *thinks* No risk, no reward. We'll let them do that little firework of them... and who knows? Maybe Kire's action will make it even more interesting!
Dark Weapon: "Staying so close to Kire is not wise. We should put some distance between us and him..."
Ex *thinks* Nah! I'm confident in my abilities to block his incoming attacks if they're directed at me... and even if I can't counter the incoming attack, I'll absorb the damage and use it to instantly charge one of my techs!
Dark Weapon: "Maybe... but your Life Force is getting lower and lower. You're still in good shape... but those spike grenades took a toll on your Life Force!... but your combat effectiveness is still at 90% and higher."
Ex *thinks* All I needed to know. Keep watching Korra and Ami! |

Korra finishes charging. "Ami, come on! Gemini Formation Wave!"
"OH, I see. Well then..."
Ami quickly assumes levitation and zips about 10 feet behind Korra. Korra fires, but straight up into the air-- and his shot is huge! What a waste!
But Ami focuses as well, and the straight-up-fired shot suddenly stops and hovers in the air. Then, Ami's crystal glows hot-white as she flies right into the sphere and strikes it lightly with the tip of her right hand. The ball immediately breaks into 100 tiny spheres of electricity.
Ami brings her hands far apart, and the spheres form a spherical grid around her, a grid that quickly rotates. Ami, with her new shield of electric spheres, flies down and hovers next to Korra, keeping slight distance to prevent the grid from touching Korra.
"This is Gemini Formation Wave... You'll see why in a moment. Heh heh..." |

Ex slowly approached Kire...
Ex: "I believe I can break your Ryuu Kauntaa Sutansu... but you'll be surprised how I'll do it!"
Ex *thinks* Dark Weapon. Keep an eye on Korra. He is the key to the success of our attempt at breaking Kire's defensive stance.`

Kire sheathes his sword and pulls into a defensive stance.
"I have been on the attack for a while. Can you break my Ryuu Kauntaa Sutansu?"
OOC: Ahhh.... Kire's first that I ever had him use. |

"Not long, in fact I believe it's over. But to answer Kire's question, indeed I have met both APH and Schwa. APH was an immature fighter as he 'had' to be fighting, otherwise he was bored. Schwa was very mysterious, and I don't know a lot about him.
"But yes, our intermission is over. Let us continue to blast each-other silly."
Korra begins charging electrical energy into his right arm, waiting for a response from one of the other fighters. Ami is sitting on a rock.
"Korrachi, that wasn't a very long intermission. I still need to take a break."
"What? A 'break'? What's a 'break'?" Korra says 'Break' real smarmily.
"No mind games, Korrachi. You fight alone for a while."
"Meh... Very well." He refocuses his attention on the fight. Though Ami is not fighting, she will immediately go back to battle if Korra is injured. |

Ex finished getting the last shard out of her body.
Ex: "Huh? What the... Well... It looks like the time has come for an intermission."
Ex smiled. She tought that the situation was pretty funny. After all, it isn't often that people suddenly stop harming each others to speak of a totally unrelated subject.
Ex: "So... how long will this intermission last?" |

Kire first takes the attack of the Shard Flurry Bomb, Kire rests on one leg.
"We are all strong fighters, This reminds me of one of my last battles. I was defeated by Schwa and APH as they teamed up. It was very difficult. Perhaps you have met any of them?" |

Korra and Ami stand in fighting stance.
"This has been a good battle so far," Korra says, "but I'm just getting started. Ami, what's on your mind?"
"Still depressed how I made a perfect shot at Dark Weapon earlier and it did absolutely nothing."
"Don't let it get to you, sis! Ex, Kire, care to share your thoughts before we continue the battle?"
Korra believes long battles could always use a good intermission. |

Also, I AM quite tired so sorry if this post is short/lack good grammar/doesn't make as much sense as I would want/e.t.c.

Ex's attack struck the enemy as planned... but it seemed that the power of Ex's attack wasn't quite high at all.
Dark Weapon: "I'm searching trought my recent memory... there you go! Kire can "soul jump", thus reaching matrix-level speed. He tried to attack us... and well, his attack, while unsuccessful, caused a drop in power level which made our attack do next to nothing to the target."
Ex *thinks* Too bad... really.
CLANG!
Dark Weapon: "Yet another Shard Flurry Bomb!"
Ex *thinks* Man! Not now!
BOOM!
Ex attempted to block the real rain of shards but unlike last time, she wasn't ready for the attack and as such, at least two dozens shards got into Ex.
Ex cursed as she felt intense pain and transformed Dark Weapon into a strange object which she used to extract the shards from her body.

OOC: Eh, nothing should be foolproof, but even so, Kire's attack should have done something, and not so dismissed. An attack to a weapon usually... deflects the weapon, changes its power in the very least... It is an object with mass. Anyway, it is in the past.. and that was Kire's spirit form, so has no effect on Kire's real weapon.
OOC: Misplacement... Kire is not close Zerodious, who is, at the moment, right next to them... In fact, Zerodious said that his attack continued regardless of Kire.

OOC: It's true, Kire... It's completely fair given Zerodius made that fact perfectly clear in the beginning... which he did. I'm going with his side.
Korra and Ami stare at this disagreement of physics for a while, which is quite interesting to watch. He would've been smashed with the Counter if not for Kire's block, which may or may not have cost him his weapon in the process...
Nevertheless, they don't hold back. Korra fires the 3rd and final Shard Flurry bomb directly at the two close fighters, which should explode 6 feet away from them. After this, Korra's cannon changes back into a hand, as it is out of ammo.
"They sure do quarrel obnoxiously, Ami... Hope that'll refocus their attention." |

OFF: I'm really sorry... but Dark Weapon cannot be touched in any way, form, or shape, end of story.
As such, the attack is doomed to failure whatever objection you may have... and no, I will NOT move from my position. |

OOC: Anything that has a soul, can be destroyed. Anything can be destoryed. Not everything has a soul, but an object with a soul isn't anything special, 'cept a second mind. Powerful magic weapons tend to gain a soul, so most think it is a sign of power, but it is only one sign. Nothing is godly, even if it is your weapon. Perhaps I shall take a different aproach. (Kire's god has a special affinity to Katana's, so Kire's cannot break so easily.)
OOC: I'm sorry, but Kire is a master swordsman. And his attack, charged up for a little while, cannot be deflected so easily (though I've tended to have demphasis on Kire's swordsmanship.)
Magic always supersedes science in the short term.
Science always wins in the long term. |

OFF: I guess it hasn't been specified enough if at all... so I'll say this:
Dark Weapon cannot be damaged, end of story. Dark Weapon instantly destroy every souless object at a molecular level upon impact. Only objects with souls can resist a direct impact... and even then, it varry on the soul's strenght.
In short, unless Kire's sword is a living weapon, Kire just wasted it.

Unfortunately for Kire, his sword didn't do anything to Dark Weapon. Worse, if it was souless... then it must have shattered instantly on impact.
Dark Weapon: "Weird... I sensed an impact or something... It was going at an incredible speed..."
Ex *thinks* Bah! Must have been nothing...
Ex carried on with her attack as if nothing had happened... in short, Kire's intervention didn't do anything at all... exept breaking his own sword. |

OOC:I read Korra not Kirra...., but needless, Kire is going to interupt
"Ahhh.... the benefit of this attack. Solitude for a while, in my mind anyway. That lightning dragon was right... oh wait, Ex is attacking. The wonders of magic."
Kire's body moves not a bit.... and, on the same plane of speed that Ex is, perhaps a trifle faster,, Kire's spirit appears in front of her. This attack seperates Kire's soul from his body to strike out, and, at least where Kire comes from, spirits move beyond the speed of light. It's why spirits go back to earth and put themselves in such a stupid form, a ghost. Few can enjoy that much solitude at once. Kire's spirit, having most of the strength of his body in this form, lashes out with his sword at Ex's dark weapon, aiming to damage (and deflect) the weapon when it's least likely to expect an attack. Having finished this task, Kire's soul instantly goes into Kire's body, and takes over his reflexes.
Under his breath, "Damn, that attack would of done more had Ex waited for a little while."
"Not all is lost, at least my body didn't get attacked after I left it. It doesn't have the wits by itself ::smirk::" |

Ex: "Oh no! Not this time!"
Ex unleashed her power, executing a Dark Overdrive!
Ex: "COUNTER!!!"
Ex somehow deflected ALL of the incoming needles with Dark Weapon and then, she jumped just next to Korra and proceeded to slash him with Dark Weapon!
She attacked only once... but this attack was going at a speed WAY above the speed of sound (close to speed of light) and the strenght of the attack was twice the damage Ex would have suffered if she would have been struck with all the needles she deflected. |

Kire unsheathes his sword, and points it towards the sky.
"Hidden Holy Ryuu attack!"
The needles then stirke Kire, but he doesn't do more then take it, grimincing as they strike. Other then that, Kire just stands their, looking serious and not saying another word. |
