I miss Sonic CD so freaking much. I went to go dig up my old Sega CD and games so I could play it, only to remember I had sold mine.

I was bummed that day.

Yes, it was one of those red/white spinning things that you should jump on.

I read some where that Tails could get through there via a bug but I didn

Gameplaying heaven...

I actually prefer the US OST to the game, rather than the Japanese one.

The Japanese one isn't bad though, not bad at all. For those of you who may have Sonic and Knuckles for the PC, you can listen to the music within that game. It has soundtracks to Sonic - S&K, and the "original" soundtrack to Sonic CD.

Regardless, Sonic CD is easily the best Sonic game.

Plus, Sonic CD was the true and first game to introduce Metal Sonic. yes it was out before Sonic 2.

I figured out how to fight sonic's battle with knuckles in Marble hill zone a deep breath back. I also figured out how to fight sonic's boss battle in the carnival zone too.

S3&K, definately.

S3 is a close runner-up in my book.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles, without a doubt is the best Sonic game ever. The design, ambition, use of technology, the cut scenes between zones... All just so much more than anything any other Sonic game has been before.

It's truely a masterpiece, and I'm confident in saying that it's much better than Sonic 2 by far

I'd also like to point out that it's pretty much the true form of Sonic 3... The perfect version. All the stuff they had to hold back from Sonic 3 to make the Christmas launch date, and more.

I remember a part of Sonic 3 that drove me and everyone else I knew nuts. It was the near the end of the first level with these breakable looking rocks cutting off a part of the stage. And no matter what you did, you couldn't brake the rocks, they were just unbreakable. Then you found out about it was for Knuckles only.

No listing of the red ball minigame thing that's a part of Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles but still should've been listed because you get it for combining S&K with Sonic the Hedgehog? This is the worst poll ever =(

If tails is just out of the screen then he can go through those. I remembered the instruction book saying that Knuckles liked to dig and that he knew every secret on the island, so I assumed that that was some sort of secret only Knuckles could get through, even though I had no idea that there was ever even going to be a game were you could play as Knuckles. Then when I saw it wasn

Sonic 3 & Knuckles, my favorite, and the biggest 2D Sonic game. with great Sound and Big zones.

It was also the Game to get me hooked on Sonic games, I as a Nintendo Only Mario Gamer, (back then, 1995 or something).

I liked Sonic and Knuckles music. They should have kept the Sonic 3 version of the Knuckles theme music In Sonic3 & Knuckles... and the Sonic 3 version of the Mini-boss battles music......

Honestly, Sonic 3 entirely was my least favorite of all the Sonic games. The music, the levels, everything. The only levels and themes I enjoyed were World 2, and the Ice Zones.

All in all I don't think it was "that" bad of a game, but compared to the original, which I believe is a pure classic and has great music, and Sonic 2 with it's tons of levels and faster paced action, and the awesomeness of Sonic and Knuckles, it just doesn't compare.

And I'll say it again, all of the games in my post above, don't even come close to Sonic CD. It's sad I'm about the only one here who's played it, apparently.

By some reason I like the music from Sonic 3 the most but S&K's music is very close.

I love boss music so they

I kind of guessed as much, but the remark itself (About Kirby's Avalanche) was so out of left field that I didn't know what to make of it.

By the way, Kirby's Avalanche and Mean Bean Machine are BOTH American localizations of the Puyo Puyo series; one didn't "rip off" the other. However, if one wants to be technical, Mean Bean Machine actually came out in North America BEFORE Kirby's Avalanche, according to GameFAQs.

Um, what?

Please refrain from making posts which bear little or no relation to the topic at hand.

Judging from the one vote for Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, he was referring to that (with the "whoever is copying it" remark.

I'm gonna have to go with Sonic 3 & Knuckles, though Sonic 2 is a very close second.

Edit: Master M got here before me.
