Thanks to Emptyeye for fixing the spoiler for me, i didn't know how to do that.
And button mashing is the first instinctive action to take when any software interface freezes. So I got that covered big time.
I too read that the game was originally designed for the N64, but there wasn't a market for it at the time. so i wonder how limited it might have been had they released it N64. Yet games like Perfect Dark managed to blow me away with that handy ram expansion pack. (btw, never owned a N64, it was playstation all the way for me)

Was that comment about the toilet really necessary?
And.. uh... Did you press a button when that happened? Maybe that could've ended the error process. Unless you had that evil black screen that says "Error. Please restart blah blah blah".
Eh.. doesn't matter now ;
I've never had any error problems with Animal Crossing or Eternal Darkness.... guess I'm lucky, heh. |

So was Animal Crossing....
AND THEY BOTH ROCKED HARD.
EDIT: And they both had a bunch of errors, actually... |

And its development cycle was previously set for the N64. |

The sheer randomness of Eternal Darkness has caused it to be notorious for glitches and errors that exist outside the game's normal breadth of insanity. You have to remember, it was created in the early days of the Gamecube, and was a pretty monumental undertaking, innovation-wise. Of course there's gonna be a few loose nails in the coffin here and there. |

No it hasn't actually.
I'm mainly posting to let you know that putting text inside spoiler brackets will make it black on black.

Anyone here played Eternal Darkness?
I'll get to my beef right now, those who have played this game know about the sanity meter and its effects.
***POSSIBLE SPOILER***
Spoiler: one effect tricks the player into thinking the Gamecube has reached an error as it warns you of such. This "error" only last a couple moments and it's back to choppin' zombie heads again! However, this happened to me again this afternoon. The difference this time is that I believe it was a real error. The warning never went away for a couple of minutes. fed up, i turned the power off and took a poop. but not in my pants, in a toilet. *** end to possible spolier***
has this happend to you? in any game? was I just too impatient? |
