Look. EA has one fighting series under its belt. Def Jam Vendetta. And I love that series. But giving EA something...Holy...Something revered on the same level of godliness by THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS, is like...Well. Imagine if all of a sudden everything you loved just kind of...died. In horrible ways. That's how this feels.

Still though thats just being naive, we all know EA is developing original characters for the game. All the worries me is that thier "original" characters will end up being rip-off Heros and Villains. |

What about the simple mechanics with lots and lots of free-flowing moves? That was really Smash Bros' best innovation.
Anyway, it would be better if they took the weapon system from Power Stone, as opposed to Smash Bros. Nearly endless weapons with stuff as bizarre as forks >>> j00. |

Its not going to be a rip off. I think from Smash Bros they will borrow; weapons, double jumping, and most importantly juggling.
I cant wait to see a Trailer for it, most lilkely at E3. |

I knew once I mentioned Smash Bros and Powerstone Id change some opninions. I can just imagine the speed of Marvel Vs. with the freedom of Power Stone, and the simple yet deep mechanics of Smash Bros in a beautiful 3D Fighter featuring Marvel Heros!!
I really hope its turns out to be 4 player. |

While I have to admit that this doesn't look as badass as Capcom X Namco, the inclusion of Spiderman, Wolverine, and Electra do seem to be steps in the right direction.
Smash Bros style fighting, you say? Even more steps, then. |

Yes that Wolverine. He looks different but I wouldnt say bad.
I read an article at Gamespot and they said the fighting was influenced by Smash Bros and Powerstone, and Itll be fully 3D....so far so good I say! |

I have my doubts, but Im still keeping a positive attitude about it. I mean think about it....every Marvel Vs game has been awesome, in my opinion at least. Just cause its EA is no need to bash it, and if you hate EA then you should be happy in getting to mutilate thier characters with Marvel Super Heros!!! |
