Well, The only idea I could come up with for replacing furball was to do a sprite edit. So I give you Hyabasu Mario.

The rips look great, and Dennis Hopper as Bowser pwns.

Looking at the first pictures I honestly thought this was like a ... SMB3 to SMW conversion.

It looks really nice, and like others said, Mario seems to fit in with that world naturally.

Oh no, I DEFINATELY love the Dennis Hopper-ish last boss. That's freaking Hilarious!

All the bosses sprites has been changed. Enemies as well. Here's an example. I wasn't able to fit bowsers sprite in the game. So instead I edited the final boss to appear Dennis Hopperish. After all, he did play bowser in the SMB Movie. Like it or love it I plan to leave it that way.

I like the city pic also, I'm glad your working hard on this Tiny Toons hack iamhiro1112. Um, are you planning to change the bosses sprites to look more Mario Themed? Once again awsome work.

That looks good, I like the city look, but if you change the palettes for the sky & the buildings, it'll look even better.

I took this pic of another japanese SMB1 hack I have on me. Try it like this.

That pic right there is pretty tight! I like the DK environment you put in there. All I gotta say is, awsome progress. GFX changes go a long way.

So far the only level with background graphics I found needed changing so far was the city. I've been trying to change the setting to more of a construction type layout ala Donkey Kong. I'm not sure if I'm satisfied with this level tho. Tell me what you think.

This is a really cute hack you are working on iamhiro1112, I want to play this so bad, but I'll have to be patient.

This is a cool pic right here. The wand instead of keys really make this hack more Marioish. I can't wait to play this hack when it's done.

Muy Excelente!

You should definitely hack the palettes. It's so easy, and it'll enhance the "legitimacy" of the hack tenfold.

In terms of the graphics, at least.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will try to have the hack finished in a couple weeks. If I decide to learn how to change palletes it may take longer. I also decided to change the keys that you get at the end of the level into wands from SMB3. Heres a pic.

Honestly man... I've played that pirate... and just eww... This hack is looking pretty cool though, I really like how you are putting things in from all of the Mario games.

Yeah, a good graphic only hack is rare. Why people waste their time making pointless hacks like "Mariovania" is beyond me. It's like OMG, look at me! I can change what one sprite looks like!
