I must admit that this game does sound interesting, what with the new objective of saving rather than catching the Pokemon. The main character looks more badass than the standard little boy/little girl character they've used since Blue and Red. The only thing it could do without is the stupid commercial with the "Save the Pokemon" song in it. |

Yeah, I'm surprised that there's actually an RPG mode in there... I didn't hear about it until the game's release.
Certainly looks promising though, especially if Nintendo ends up making a more in-depth sequel. |

Oh, it does have that kinda support. Unfortunately, this game isn't very forgiving for those people who don't have more than one GBA cable...
Colosseum is basically like another pokemon cartrige, since you need to have other pokemon catriges and cables if you want to fight people... |

Well I know what the story is and what the game is about, I'm just trying to figure out if the game is actually any good
I do not like the fact that you can't catch wild Pokemon though, it sounds kind of weird but maybe this will be a good thing for an old game that needs some refreshing. |

Well.. It does have every single Pokemon ever made. You just gotta upload them onto it from Ruby/Saphire/FireRed/LeafGreen. ;
I think there're like 54 pokemon that you can catch in the story mode, and they're the ones that you'd catch in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. The rest can't be caught, but you still fight them.
*hugs his Feraligatr* I missed you so...
Anyway.. Pokemon Colosseum is a mixture of Pokemon Stadium and the gameboy games. There're no wild pokemon, but you can steal other trainers' pokemon if the pokemon is a "Shadow" pokemon.... The plot is alright to me... Like I said, it feels like I'm playing a Pokemon game with no Gym battles (There're kinda replacements for that, but they tend to have a Shadow Pokemon, which slows things down since you have to change your strategy to a Pokemon catching one), and no wild Pokemon. |

I think that this one will be a great game, even though I am not a Pokemon fan. Sure, it is Nintendo, but I am not going to spend my money on the cards.
This game is supposed to have every single Pokemon ever made, or so I have heard. Looks good, and has a serious story. Not the "Go get 8 badges" story. |

After the first Pokemon game, the other ones left me bored. I admit it was fun while it lasted. I'm not even going to check it out Colliseum. |

I have been reading up on this game and thinking about buying it because I'm scared that if I don't play my Gamecube it may get so unused it might break yes that is sarcasm, I just need a game to play for my gamecube so I don't feel like I wasted my money on it
Anyways is Pokemon Colliseum a good RPG to buy or should I not even waste my time on it? |
