maybe if someone could read machine code, then they could use MWR to go to the star's ASM and read through the instructions list for the palette number setting.

Hmmm... well, it flashes between two different palettes. All you have to do is change some values to change it to one palette instead. It would flash, but like you would notice it switching from palette A to A...

...but don't ask me where you would change it... probably deals with sprite data... since a star is a sprite...

My star uses 2 colors, and they both cycled...

Not really sure, but isnt it one color in the palette that flashes? Couldnt you just edit the GFX to use a non flashing color?

How would you disable the palette flash for the star? I've got new star GFX that don't look really good when they flash... :\

Edit: Never mind if you saw my GFX question, I had too many files open in TLP
