Um, please try and keep discussion somewhat on-topic, particularly if you're going to bump a week-old topic. Send a PM (Click their name and then click "send Private Message" near the bottom of the page) to the person if you just want to say "hi" or talk with them privately.

Thanks.

Ok!

As for Meteos, it's a puzzle game and a really great one. It got 38/40 in Famitsu. Only a few games get such a high score.

You#re probbaly wondering which one I got...

Well it's *drumroll*

Polarium, which is nice but as I'm engrossed in Mario ^$ and Wario it's not getting much of a look in

It's set for a 2005 release, no? Probably late year in Europe (which often gets CV games at the same time as us or even before) and North America.

Mr. Driller. The first time I played that game, I puked at how cute it was. The soundtrack is awesome. And it is fun as hell.

Not to mention unnaturally addictive.

Have you ever played Bejeweled?

Zookeeper is that game, only a little changed by modes, and theme.

Well, some games slated for an April, May release now in the US are...

- Rayman
- Need for Speed Underground 2
- Polarium
- Egg Monster Hero
- Puyo Pop Fever
- Pac Pix
- Meteos

And seeing that Yoshi Touch and Go will be released this Monday I think there are enough great games upcoming to play on your DS.

That's a toughie because those are all good. Mr. Driller is the best of those puzzle games... but...

Feel the Magic: XY/XX (or Project Rub to you gamers located in other parts of the planet) is really an awesome game to start with, and was my first Nintendo DS game. It's the best game to show off the capabilities of what the Nintendo DS can do. (None of those puzzle games use the microphone, Project Rub does it, and in a fun way too.) Some say it's short, but those hardcore gamers that want to drive a game to it's TRUE completion will probably have a good time with it. I still play it, having done everything there possibly is to do in the game (all stars, all rabbits) and I love it. Besides, who can resist a game with a girl on the title screen that wishes you a Happy Birthday and a Merry Christmas?

My choice in this poll is obvious. Go with Project Rub.

I wonder what kind of games that is, though:

The releases for DS are starting to pick up. According to the latest release lists there will be 7 games released in April and another 7 in May. That's almost 2 games per week. Not too bad, is it?

Most consoles and handhelds have this problem nowdays, it's not too uncommon.

PS2 anyone? I think it had a quite slow start, but it did get succeful.

And I doubt that DS will flop anyway by this point. DS have sold more world-wide currently...

Personally the lack of games aren't really disturbing me right now, since there is so many other games I need to play on other platforms...

How good is Project Rub? I have considered that game, but I heard it have like 32 minigames. Not much more than SM64DS... but then if thoose minigames are much better then I probably buy it too.

Mario Kart isn't coming out until deep into the year, so you might want to get a game to tie you over. Too bad Nintendo didn't release that many games at their launch and a lot of their games are being delayed. I show people the list of games that the DS are coming out with, and it doesn't even fill half of the page. And then I show people the PsP game list, and its over half of a page, with many games coming out before the launch. Nintendo had better get the ball rolling.

I've played the demo of Wairo Ware and its really fun and easy to get into.

Your not the only one waiting for that game, to be honest even I have been intrested in that game....

Althought Nintendo thinks it's going to attract mainly "non-gamers". Hmm...

But it's getting released in Japan on April. So well... don't hold your breath for that.
