I use the ZSNES file placement method. I place the patch in the same file as my rom, and it happens......
EDIT: Do I grab it from the zip folder again, but rename the rom? Oh... it DOES work... Dummy me.. pardon!  |

Why can't you just download the patch and apply it to another copy of the ROM? Nobody's saying you're limited to only having one patched SMW ROM at at time  Unless you mean that you want to finish your game before you play someone else's  If that's the case, then just keep working at it and hopefully you finish it soon

It all looks quite nice... Those FG/BG positions can be a bitch, I know. The only problems I noticed were some scorebar colour problems, and on the first screenshot it says 'Y BEB'.  Also I don't see what the last one has to do with Iggy, exactly... And it'd be nice if you'd lose the little white dots flying around on the site, or at least fix them somehow to go under the rest of the page. |

I completed all levels (including the yellow switch palace). The difficulty of this hack seems to be right around the point where you're frustrated but want to beat it anyway. I think this is a good thing, as long as every single part isn't this hard. (The castles and the chain chomp bouncing were.) |

Oups! I don't see garbage the first time I pass the level. Thank, Jesper. So, you complete the level with Chomp Chomp ( after the cave, it's hard to jump on the chomp chomp  ). |

This hack is really great. The levels are just plain awesome and the graphics are good. One thing though:
The background has the wrong offset on some secondary entrances - this ends up in the bottom of the background being put higher on the level than it's supposed to, and garbage being painted below. (This effect is the same effect that makes the screen scroll down to ground level from starting out up in the air when you come out of a pipe on the ground in one of the early levels. |

I've got no problem with you putting that patch on your site. You're the one that made the game in itself after all. As for whether it's working or not, it does for me at least, but it'd probably be a good idea to wait and see how it's working for other people as well |

For anyone who wants to play the game, I'll direct you to this site on my Freewebs account for right now. As the page says, I tested it on an unmodified copy of the original ROM, and it worked, so hopefully it does for you as well |

I suggest he take it down and make a patch that works himself. Mainly for leagalities. Dont want a rom of any kind to be traced to here, might exploit the board. |

It was definitely not a good idea to link to the ROM Hopefully someone that downloads that can make an IPS patch that works, although if nobody else wants to, I will
When it comes to paying for PicoZip, it's pretty much like most other programs that do that sort of thing: there's a trial period, in which all functions will work, but after that period is elapsed, the program either won't load, or some functions will be disabled. |

Ok, you can now download my hack but it's not a ips. It's already patch to the original. You must dezip the file.

Your hack doesn't work for me as well, please use LIPS when making an IPS Patch.
BTW: I unlocked your hack with RLM and it's all screwed, all levels and the whole OW, fix that. |

I don't think expanding the IPS would do anything useful, or if that's even possible I don't know if anything different will happen, but I (you don't have to do it) will try to expand the ROM to different sizes with Lunar Expand after I make this post and see if it makes any difference. I still wonder why this problem is appearing again though. This isn't the first hack demo it's come up in

No download link? No demo? There are links to each patch on that page, underneath the screenshot of the title screen of each of the games. I know I probably shouldn't, but here's direct links to the patches:

I say the last one might be complete, as there's a question mark after the word "Complete' on the page, while the only other instance of it has an exclamation mark after it. If it's not on that page, and it is made by Anikiti, the best advice I could offer is to look through some of the older pages of posts in this section of the board |
