oh i completely agree there for simple scripts rubikon/scripted is more than enough. but for the more interesting ones (casino, daycare, givepokemon in Fire) they are simply not enough.

still, for all intents and purposes, you're alot more advanced than most of the people in this forum, if you get what I'm saying. For the average user, Rubikon is a bit more practical.

i don't agree there i actually use a hexeditor + my own script-decompiler and i actually prefer it this way.

There isn't one--you'd actualy be alot better off trying to figure out how to use Rubikon...in the long run, it's alot less messy than doing it all out by hand in the hex editor, at least to my experience anyways.

well you need to know the commands (not the rubikon text name but the hex id) and their arguments(read the rubikon commands.html) then you need to remember you need to flip hwords and words - and well that's it.

can somebody tellme how to make a new event in pokemon ruby just with a hex editor?
I really want to learn how to do that whitout rubikon.
