Could be some replacements of the models... The different versions probably all use the same model format.
Somewhat on this topic, is it possible to set up a standard POP email address to automatically forward to another address? Apparently my ISP's been sending stuff to their provided account which I never use, and I'd like it to pop up in my Gmail account instead. |

You cant put a decent version of Windows on an xbox because Windows isnt open-source. Linux IS open source, so they can edit it to work on an XBox.
It's important that I have something different on the end because it's cool. |

I got it for free because it's broken. I'm getting another one for free because it's broken as well. One has a broken HDD, the other has a broken DVD-Rom drive. All I gotta do is swap.
So getting a 733 MHz computer is costing me about 30 bucks for cables. I think it's smart and not stupid. |

well there's two things:
1. Buy hosting which usually comes with an email service (you wanted hosting anyway, right?) 2. Register a domain and attatch it to your IP address. Then set up a mail server, like sendmail. |

There are probably free email redirection services like that, but I really doubt you'll find one that lets you pick the domain. (If you do though, PM me. I bet xxx@nospam.com gets automatically dropped from a lot of mailing lists. ) |

Well, then, you're screwed. I'm not aware of any free way to get your own domain name, which you HAVE to have if you want a fully customized e-mail address. |

If you just want extra email addresses to use at different places to avoid spam, Sneakemail is a good service. That service provides random addresses that redirect to your normal address. If you recive a message through Sneakemail, the from address is rewritten so that replies pass back through Sneakemail, hiding your real address. |

An email alias is when you set up a fake email that will redirect to a real email.
So I make a nebetsu@example.com. When someone emails nebetsu@example.com, it goes to my nebetsu@gmail.com. |

Use a fake name where it says "name"?
I can't really tell what your asking. Do you just want a alternate email address to give to potential mailing list or something more complex then that? |
