I like the water weavy effect.

...probably because there's not many games who uses the scanline interupt. :/

The guy who made that hand movement Super Mario Bros should at least have bothered to implement some of the game mechanics. xD I figure he used a webcam and a bluescreen of some kind...

Looks good.

Now if I only had a NDS ROM to try on.

So does the DS filesystem make things more flexible? As in that you can replace a file with a bigger one without any problems?

That pentagram looks so out of place for a Mario game. I don't care if it's becuse of it being from a mirror universe, it still looks cheesy. xD

Because, this is purely a level design contest and not a graphics contest.

And it would be intresting to see a level for once that isn't boasting with custom graphics and ASM hacks, and still is good.

Looks nice now. The mirror could be a little darker, but that's probably would be hard with the limited palette of the NES.

Reminds me about the orginal vehicle names for TTD that was distributed around once upon a time, so you could have the original names of various vehicles. xD

In the case of Pokémon, having various real world berries heal certain ailments might not make much sense. (even if the fictional berries was based on those

) But it's neat.
